Have an everflowing TBR list? See any good book recommendations and forget about them? Introducing the TBR - Bookshelf app!

Track books that you want to read in the TBR, track books you've read, and track books you're currently reading! (No book limits)

Rate your books once you've read them and log your favorite moments with our quick and easy log rating system. Finding books is easier than ever with our public ratings so you can easily see what pov a book is in, what tropes it contains, reread rate, and 4 genre specfic ratings (Example: Romance has Spice, Fluff, Humor, and Tear ratings). Your ratings will be kept anonymous so that you can be honest with your book review.

Within our rating system, you can log:

Your reading book format,
5 Star Rating (Including Half Stars!),
Up to four genre ratings,
If you'd reread or not,
If you DNF the book,
Favorite Characters,
Favorite Quotes,
Series,
Standalone Books,
Pro Quotes and Annotations (Paid Subscription Required)
and
Any additional thoughts about the book

We also have a Pro Rating Feature (Subscription Required)

Within the pro-rating screen you can log:

Book Tropes,
Book Playlists, (These are to keep track of songs, they cannot be played within the app)
POV format and amount,
TV Show and Movie Adaption Ratings,
and
4 Seasonal Ratings

Make your own custom reading goal for the year! When you finish reading a book it will automatically get placed into your yearly reading goal bookshelf.

TBR - Bookshelf is free to download and use. No online account or sign-up is needed. TBR - Bookshelf Pro includes a 7-day free trial period and then you change choose between the monthly plan ($4.99 a month), 6-month plan ($19.99 every 6 months), or the yearly plan ($29.99 a year). All the other features will remain free to use indefinitely.

A monthly, 6-month, or yearly purchase will be applied to your iTunes account at the end of your 7-day free trial period. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled within 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime with your iTunes account settings. DELETS WITHOUT WARNING

This app was good until it deleted all of my books without any warning, and now they will not respond to me

App needs work

I love the idea of this app, but there are a lot of changes that are needed to make it worth spending money on. It would be nicer to be able to arrange the TBR books in whatever order I want, not just based on what order they were inputted in. The search option doesn’t work well - books not found via author can be found just by searching the book name - makes things more time consuming. Every time I open the app, it says that I have notifications turned off which is super annoying because I turned them off so that I wouldn’t be bothered by an app and now, here we are. And if I’m paying money for a bookshelf, I would also like to have a bookshelf for my read books, not just the ones that are TBR. Super cool app idea, just needs some finessing.

Love it!

I absolutely love using this app. It is an easy way to keep track of my current reads, how much I have left in the book, and all I have read within a year. Some neat features, like choosing a theme for your bookshelf so it has a certain aesthetic to it. The only thing I wish that could be added is more options in the discovery / search section, especially being similar in genre to the books you have read, and not something completely different that not everyone would be interested in. Discovery should be there so people can find a new, similar book that fits their taste.

App Crashes

Every time I try to add a book to the virtual bookshelf the app crashes. Unfortunate cause I was really excited about this app.

Looking forward to better development in the future

I was really excited for this app while it’s a great idea and I see where it could be for the avid reader/book community it needs a lot more work to be a well run app. Trying to search books is a struggle by either book or author. You couldn’t give us better bookshelf base colours than red and green? I love Christmas but not all year round and I’m not gonna pay for different colours if the app doesn’t run well. Let us be able to customize it better so we’re excited to open it up and see the colours/design and add all our books and see our pretty bookshelf as we add to our yearly reads. I will definitely try this app again in the future when it’s developed better but for now I’ve removed it.

I really love this app! It’s fun and easy to use. You get a cute little bookshelf you can customize and add plants to your shelves.
