TC Mobile Reviews

Pocket MDC

BSwoodworking on

United States

I use it every day at work it’s a mini mdc in my pocket. Sometimes I even get runs dispatched to my phone faster than over the PA. Only thing I would add is the Leroy Jenkins sound for a alert sound.

Need a couple updates

Shaunbear468 on

United States

Good quick app. Maps are great. Needs. Couple things. 1. A feature to push through phone on quiet or do not disturb and a repeat alarm until acknowledged. 2. A lot of old calls remain on all that need to be deleted.

Mediocre app

Westerside on

United States

The UI is super clunky and it refuses to use Google Maps instead of the garbage Apple Maps even when changed in settings. Maps of hydrants and other info is nice though.

Terrible app, needs lots of work.

pyork97 on

United States

I use this app everyday for work and it’s pretty terrible. The map feature never loads so you can’t see where other units are or where the call pin is located. My partner and I usually end up just mapping with google maps because Tablet command never loads. This issue is compounded by the constant crashes the app experiences especially when trying to use functions like “responding” and “at hospital”. This app has lots of potential - it would be great if all the features actually worked!

Good

Good app. Needs an override silent feature like active 911.

Mapping doesn’t work

Doesn’t show units, streets, etc ever since last update.

Excellent service, ham-fisted app

Apple has allowed developers to incorporate the priority/bypass feature for notifications, that would allow notifications to come through even when your phone is set to silent. I’ve got several free apps, including earthquake notifications, and a few others that have incorporated this feature. It should be no problem for tablet command, which is an enterprise app intended for first responders and only usable by agencies, to incorporate this critical feature. How you haven’t incorporated this Critical feature yet is beyond me. This app is severely limited in other ways, too. I wind up logging in through the web interface in my mobile browser more often than not.

Needs push through silent

geoboy13 on

Needs a feature to push through the silent iPhone. Like the critical alerts done by Active911. Other than that it is a great app.

Mini MDC on your phone

Mikatoki on

United States

This is a lite version of Tablet Command that provides you quick information when you want it. This app resolves the question “who was the call for?” Or “where are we going?” Now you know. This app works similar to Active911, but with way better situational awareness. Often times the alert on my phones goes off before the station tones come on, which yields better turnout times. Chief’s, this is an app you want for every guy/gal on your department.
