## Team Shake Description
Team Shake provides a technological and environmentally friendly way to choose teams for board games, sporting events, tournaments, school projects or anytime groups are required. The newest release brings many new features including full iPad support, balancing teams based on skill or gender, importing users from a file, enabling video output, and sharing teams via facebook or email. 

Team Shake is the premier iOS App for creating teams. Instead of a hat and scraps of paper, the user enters his friends' names in his iPhone and gives it a shake. The screen will then display a random set of color-coded teams. These teams can immediately be used for game play or shared via facebook or email.   The quick and easy selection of random (or balanced) teams eliminates fighting over who will be on which team. Innovative use of the iPhone shake gesture gives users the satisfying feeling of shaking a virtual hat without the trouble of carrying around an actual hat. Conventional buttons can also be used for those who would rather not shake their expensive hardware about.



The app is designed with ease of use and simplicity in mind. Names can easily be entered with the onscreen keyboard, chosen from the user's contacts, or imported from a file. The email and facebook functions document the members of each individual team as well as preserving the team number and color assigned by the app. For repeated use of Team Shake, lists of friends can be easily saved and loaded later. The current list is also automatically saved so that if you exit the app, or even reboot the device, changes will not be lost. For teachers and others with large lists of people, Team Shake supports the ability to import teams from text or csv files.

I like this App very much - one minor improvement would be to change the Color „Blue“ into something like „CornflowerBlue“, because black letters on dark blue paper cannot be read on any screen + bigger letters for group member names would be helpful for projecting them to the wall. Super zur Gruppeneinteilung.
Leider noch etwas sperrig in der Eingabe der einzelnen Gruppenmitgliedern und der Wechsel zwischen den Gruppen könnte auch schneller gehen.

Zudem wäre es wünschenswert, wenn die Gruppen geräteübergreifend genutzt werden könnten. Das funktioniert (bei mir) leider bisher nicht.

Does what it announces in an intuitive and sensible way, with lots and lots of options to customise the way it works (including sub-teams and multiple ways of team balancing). Export/Import, too. Extensive and clear (written) documentation plus video tutorials. No hidden fees. And if you are a dunce like me and get an option wrong, support answered my mail almost immediately - on a saturday. Impressive all round.

Die Idee der App finde ich grundsätzlich super. Allerdings bekommt es der Algorithmus nicht auf die Reihe bei 21 Spielern 4 Teams mit 3x 5 und 1x6 Spielern zu erstellen (trotz Programmierung mit zuvor festgelegten Namen) ...stattdessen gibts ein 4er Team, zwei 6er Teams und ein 5er...  für 2,50 also eine Frechheit, da nicht das gehalten wird was sie versprechen.

Die Idee ist klasse und die Umsetzung akzeptabel. Allerdings wie im Titel beschrieben, gibt es Dinge für die man kein App benötigt. Wenn die Applikation umsonst wäre, würde ich sagen für einen Spaß okay also 3 Sterne. Allerdings kostet sie 0,89€ was 100% unangemessen ist. Diese App ist einfach kein Geld wert so hart es klingt. 

Ich rate eindeutig vom Kauf ab!

Ich habe mir die App als Fußballtrainer im Kinderfußball besorgt und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Anstatt die Teams für's Abschlussspiel selbst zu bestimmen oder wählen zu lassen, entscheidet jetzt die App und keiner steht als letztes beim Wählen mehr herum ;-)
