Auto Timeout
I am remote tech support for my bed ridden, 73 year mother, in poor health, and I have been logged out, within 5 minutes and the session auto ended. This is a personal use only, and I have been using your software since 2017. Based on my experience tonight, I am telling my company and all of my friends to stop using your service. Good Day Friend.
TeamViewer is garbage
I use this to connect once a week to a laptop during a church function and it will connect for 1 minute and then it will say that the session has timed out and closes and refuses to let me connect into the laptop again. TeamViewer is garbage.
Account time out after 1 minute asking to upgrade!!!!
My account stop working without reason or notice after so many years. Sure it’s free. What can you expect right?
This is for personal use as they offer. DON’T OFFER SOMETHING FREE IF IT DOESN’T WORK OR YOU DECIDE TO MAKE IT WORK POORLY IF YOU DON’T PAY!!!
I AM SURE THIS REVIEW WILL PROPERLY NOT GO ANYWHERE EXCEPT GET SOME LAUGHS. TYPICAL!!!
Never to my phone
Not recommended
Not good anymore
Constantly disconnects and flags person users as business users now. Better to set up RD with ip updater with a free domain.
Bad usage algorithm
I’m not a business but being treated like one. I help my family but connection gets dropped after less than a minute
TR keeps recognizing my account as business when it’s personal.
I have used TR for years to fix my parents computer when it breaks. Recently when I connect to the same PC in my TR contacts keeps being recognized as business purposes when it’s my fathers laptop. I submitted the form to to fix this months ago. I go to fix something and then I get locked out of connecting to that PC after one minute. This is the reason that pushed me to look for alternative. I would not recommend this software. It will work initially then it will lock you out and force you to use a subscription.
Why offer “free for personal use” if you revoke it seemingly at random
The free personal use version works great…until it doesn’t. They will randomly revoke your license and set a 5m limit on sessions, with a cooldown period between sessions where you are unable to use it. Again, *this was being used purely for personal use*, absolutely within the legal and moral requirements…and they STILL will disable it for no discernible reason. Listen to the complaints, go elsewhere and find something without these sleazy tactics that TeamViewer employs.
Terrible app forces you to buy a $600 subscription
This has to be the worst experience I’ve had with TeamViewer after years of using this to connect to my home computer. It is now asking me to purchase a $600 subscription because I connect longer than two minutes absolutely trash.
I’m not a business
I’m not a business and one of my computers keeps getting locked out. A request for $599.00 is sent to me. I guess Free had an extra “R” - fee. I’m not sure where I went wrong, I have like five computers. Only have one that comes up as a Business for some reason. One is a Cell phone Two are my laptop and my wife’s laptop and my Plex server.
