I work in an ER, so I know what I was experiencing wasn’t necessarily an emergency, but the fever, chills, and other symptoms were definitely impacting my ability to function. After working an overnight shift, I ended up being sent home because I was too sick to continue working. Being able to call Teladoc once I got home and speak with a provider without having to go sit in an urgent care or ER was incredibly convenient. When you’re already feeling miserable, having access to care from home makes such a difference. I’m really grateful this Teledoc benefit was available when I needed it.
