It’s meant to save a trip to the doctor’s office, but the wait times are vague and unpredictable, making it impossible to plan your day especially if you’re working. Worse, out of five uses, three prescriptions never made it to the pharmacy, forcing me to go to the pharmacy sick, only to find nothing was sent. After that, support was no help, leaving me on hold for 20 minutes just to advise me to message in the app and hope and pray someone answers the message. I didn’t have pen/paper. Did they not do any user testing with this!? Then I went in the computer later, and completed the registration. 24 hours later, registration is canceled because I didn’t provide insurance info, which I did. Then I call, and they can’t help me because my account registration is somehow stuck, so they can’t delete it and can’t complete it and can’t use it. So much for telehealth. The Dr told me he would write a note to cover 3 days and then once the note was sent it only covered the day of the call. I reached out to customer service and they refused to help rectify the issue. I patiently waited for an hr for the doctor to join and “assess” me for 5 mins, literally and tell me to continue to do the same thing I have been doing already. Now, while I’m not expecting antibiotics that’s all he assumed I wanted. Instead of offering medication to help he again told me to take 3 Advil and try and sleep. My fever was literally 103. I wasted an hr, 89$ and cried. I contacted my duke medical care team because the pain was so bad, they instantly prescribed me Ipratropium Bromide nasal-2 sprays each nostril twice daily, Azelastine nasal- 2 sprays each nostril twice daily, and Bromfed-DM-take 5mL every 6-8 hours as needed for cough and congestion. Would not accept my HSA card as a payment and finally was so frustrating to not have any help at a time when you feel like heck, and trying to use this benefit, and the reason for it- if I felt well I would have gone to urgent care.
