Can someone tell me why I do not get a verification code to my phone when I downloaded telegram ? Thank you

Terrible login!!!
I opened the app, entered my phone number, got called instead of getting an SMS for verification, a call which got silenced since Im on iPhone focus mode, not that the app should care about, and then I had to wait 2 minutes!!! To get a code via SMS!!! Why is this not a button? Why do I need to wait 2 minutes for verification? And moreover guess what, even after the two minutes the message didn’t come and clicking on the ‘didnt get a message’ button opens a useless option to email to support that will answer in two years. I tried multiple times to get a code with focus mode off, and now I didnt get a call nor code I tried reinstalling the app and then got error “too many attempts try again later” WHAT DO YOU MEAN?? this is terrible mechanism for validation!!!! 0/10
This app will not send me verification code
I download this app and put my phone number to create an account, but then I don’t get the verification code. I tried doing the same thing countless times, but it didn’t work. I even deleted the app and download it again to try again but for no one surprise it didn’t work I restart the phone tried it again and I didn’t get a verification code. If someone somehow created an account and got the verification code tell me.

Uninstalled due to exposing private info
announcing all of my contacts that I've joined telegram is a big no no.
be prepared to be blocked
your account can be deleted even if you do not violate any of the rules of using this application. And your phone number can be blocked for re-creating an account. There is no technical support.
