Cant see my notes

GewoW on

For some reason my notes are not showing up. Just blank

Scanning

TC204 on

Over all this is a very useful app. One feature that is not currently available and would be amazingly useful (especially with virtual care during the pandemic) is scanning. Currently photos can be taken and uploaded to the EMR but these photos cannot be emailed or faxed. The app should allow for scanning in pdf format from our phones. This way they could be securely uploaded without being saved in our phones - just like the photos are. But with the added bonus of being able to send them onward from the EMR.

Great but some functionality still needed

Dr.deb on

Has improved flat vastly over the last few years! I rely on this a lot when I’m not at home with my computer or at the office. But there are still a few things that need improving or fixing. First off why do I need to manually categorize just about every lab before I can review it (unlike on the desktop version)? This makes reviewing labs unnecessarily time consuming. Fix this please!!! Second thing, with all the remote work we are doing there are often forms that need filling and then scanning into the chart. Add a scanning feature similar to the the ability to add pictures!! That would be so useful and is very frustrating not to have.

Not there yet

App extremely slow to load and frequent errors make it hardly functional

Great promise, failed delivery

mdwolf123 on

In concept an excellent way to access your EMR remotely with lots of built in functionality, however it is crippled by slow connection speed (regardless of wifi or data connection). Refreshes often timeout requiring a soft restart of the app. It is faster for me to login remotely via VPN on a PC to check my labs. It’s nice to see more updates to functionality, but all that is moot given the frustrating pace of the app.

Good alternative when PSS on desktop is not available

For some odd reason, the scroll feature is not available anymore, when editing notes. Please bring this back!

Worthwhile

This is a good way for a specialist to quickly scan the chart when not in the office The ability to call patient directly from app is great

Glad to have a mobile app

It has been very useful to have a mobile app at all. I recognize the complexities of PS Suite might not translate 100% to mobile version. It’s helped me a lot to have it. Ability to bring in photos directly through app is Super useful. Ability to review and mark reports, message staff, add and edit notes— very convenient. Of course, it would be helpful to be able to adjust appointments, or to fax prescriptions. Maybe they’re working on it? Thanks.

Worst app, waste of time and phone space

Lara-01 on

First, there are almost no relevant functions with this app. Second, the visuals are an absolute nightmare and seems to have been developed by someone who’s never used an app before or who does not understand the reality of a healthcare provider. Then, the whole app is not user friendly and crashes litteraly every 1-3 minutes. As an example, it crashed at least 5 times in the last 8 minutes. On top of all this, if you work in 2 different sites belonging to the same clinic, your calendars won’t merge. You’ll need two “accounts” with 2 different calendars. What a complete waste of time and headache. Speaking of the calendar, you can’t see more than a day at the time. This is ridiculous. It is a shame to call this nightmare an app. Shame on Telus for being so slow in the app game. Worst app in the history of apps. Worst of everything is it is very obvious that if you have a EMR from Telus other that Medesync, you’ll end up regretting it because Telus invests no money in their other EMR. Telus, next time, I suggest you hire a tech savy healthcare provider as a consultant to teach you a thing or two about the important functions needed in an app.

Just introduced in my clinic. Very to access on my laptop MAC and easily downloaded tha EMR mobile version on my iPhone and iPad. Easy to access on all my platforms! Got my most recent lab and imaging results. Looking forward to expanding my use of this system. Looking like a winner, will write more reviews as I gain experience !
