I deposited £2000 into my Lisa over 2 months ago and they haven’t applied for my government bonus during their specified time frame. When you email them for a response and explanation, they continue to say ‘this is being looked into’. I have missed out on the interest for my account as I STILL don’t have my £500 that should have been applied to my account. The customer service is terrible and I am now transferring out to Skipton Building Society to ensure my money is safe and taking the hit on the interest rates. I dread to think how terribly efficient Tembo would be if I found a house to buy as they’re impossible to get hold of and completely incompetent. I don’t understand how Tembo can continuously open new products on their app but they can’t even maintain the basic products they already have. Completely avoid. It says 5.5% but you don’t get that at all. How is that even legal. There is a base rate which does compound but it’s low.
