Short term car insurance is available to drivers who:

• Must have no more than 7 licence points in the last 3 years
• Must not have been disqualified from driving for the last 2 years
• Must have no more than 2 fault claims in the last 3 years

Short term van insurance is available to drivers who:
• Must be aged between 17-77 years old
• Must have been a permanent UK resident for the last 12 months 
• Must have no more than 7 licence points in the last 3 years
• Must not have been disqualified from driving for the last 2 years
• Must have no more than 2 fault claims in the last 3 years

Very simple great prices I think it’s the best app out here at the moment only tried a few for temp cover, great app

Easy to set up

I can’t comment on what happens if you have an accident, because I haven’t had one. But I have just used Tempcover for the second time. It is really easy to set up. No hassles at all and communication is excellent. I will continue to use them for short term insurance on my brothers car when I need it.

Doesn’t work

App won’t create an account just keeps saying something went wrong please try later. Not very good if you ask me

Online is better

For some reason I’m trying to get cover for a week it will come up online but when I try use the app it won’t give me anything yes I’m a new driver but thought it would be the same online and app well thought the app would be better

Temp insurance

The app couldn’t be easier to use, quick and simple. Customer service is very good I had an issue caused by myself and it got resolved in a few minutes. It would be great to see a few more discounts for frequent users

Excellent company

Easy set up a temporary insurance to get my sons new van from Walsall to Birmingham. Very reasonable priced. Definitely use again and recommend

Discount code not working

So I keep getting emails saying 30 percent discount but when you press on in the app it just takes you here and then when you press it it just takes you to the app with no discount applied Rubbish. And it’s going more expensive every time I use. I’m looking at another

This site is hard to use and has not got phone contact very hard to get I touch with if there is a problem

I used this app a few weeks ago. At that time you could arrange for insurance in advance. No issues and cost was cheaper than most. I tried to do same thing today. I already had app and it recognised my details. I asked for 24 hours cover but there wasn’t an option at that stage to select a date. Long story short it appears that you can no longer plan ahead. Insurance is Live as soon as you click to pay so beware as the t’s and c’s as there.

Way to expensive for me

Used this app to see how much it would be to drive my dads car for an hour and it was £90 went and downloaded cuvva and for the same hour it was only £17 for the same benefits. Definitely not for me
