## Tempdrop Description
The Tempdrop app is designed to complement the Tempdrop device - a personalized user-specific thermometer that captures minute temperature variations throughout the night to pinpoint the basal body temperature. Detected variations in temperature correlate with hormonal fluctuations throughout the menstrual cycle. When used with the Tempdrop device, this app can help users to pinpoint ovulation and effectively track and predict the varying phases of the cycle.

Disclaimer: The Tempdrop sensor and app are intended as complementary instruments to enhance your ability to monitor your fertility and share health details. The app and its wearable sensor, in themselves, are not, nor are they intended to be, a fertility monitor, a substitute for contraception, or a birth control method. The whole point of this device is to track BBT to the hundredths place. After the most recent update, it changed to only the tenths place including all past readings. Please fix it or everyone might as well take BBT manually.

The cost of the app went up to an outrageous amount of $48 a year. The app is very basic and I don’t feel that this is fair or worth it. The only plus was the sleep score and the automatic countdown after ovulation. I have cancelled it.

This app has been incredibly helpful in tracking my cycles & fertility. However, I find some difficulty in switching from pregnancy mode to cycle tracking mode. There’s not a mode for postpartum or breastfeeding which makes things a bit confusing. It just tells me my cycle is late. It would be really helpful if there were some more detailed instructions during those phases when you don’t have a cycle, and education on how to track those times.

So I actually enjoy Tempdrop, but this subscription model feels like extortion. You buy their $100+ device, just to pay every month to be able to use it. Its accuracy is not the greatest. It’s marked ovulation before I even got positive ovulation tests. If you add any cervical mucus it automatically marks it as fertile. It just seems like a scam.
