Tempo SlowMo is an ideal practice tool for musicians, dancers and language students. Using technology developed for our Chord Detector and Chord Tutor apps, Tempo SlowMo’s sleek and simple design helps you practice playing songs, dance routines or learning a new language by slowing down or speeding up an audio tracks BPM (beats per minute) without affecting its pitch. 5 Stars “Great for playing guitar!” 5 Stars “Elegant and intuitive” 5 Stars “Great for transcribing songs on drums” 5 Stars “Amazing for memorization!” 5 Stars “Great for dance teachers” 5 Stars “Good for fitness too!” 5 Stars “Great for choir practice” 5 Stars “This app is my favorite :) i love it!!!” Just hit the Music button within the app to reveal the available audio import options. Import an audio file from your iPod/Apple Music library, Dropbox account or over WiFi network directly to your device. Tempo SlowMo will then load the audio file which you can then play, pause, slow down and speed up to your hearts content. Tempo SlowMo also has a feature allowing you to drop markers at any point in the track so that you can quickly skip back to that point if there is a particular bit of a track you are trying to master. Special Loop Markers allow you to loop part of a track if you need to master a specific section. Start and End Track Markers allow you to override the point where a track begins and ends. As well as being able to import audio files from different sources you can also make your own recording and save it for future use. You can export the changes you made to an audio file to MP4 and upload it to Dropbox or send it as an email attachment. Please note that this app does not support tracks which are DRM protected. Apple Music tracks in your music library can now be loaded and played in Tempo SlowMo. Unfortunately controls such as pitch, balance and equaliser cannot be used with Apple Music tracks. However you can change the tempo and set loops to your hearts content. I hope they can fix the bug because I can’t load songs into it from my library. The load screen goes away in a fifth of a second. bug! pretty much makes it useless. -- LAJarch, 2025-08-31 ### *---- "Are you serious?" This was designed by someone who wanted to ruin your life. Like embarrassing level non-function. Just delete it. Run from it. Forget that it exists. Unless you want to connect the app to your Dropbox, create a special little folder for the app to access, upload any music you need to the special little Dropbox folder, then download from Dropbox to the app…. Only to find out the app doesn’t work anyway. GOOD LUCK, EVERYBODY! 👎 -- stagehand007, 2025-08-25 ### ***** "Honestly, my most used app for a while" I’ve done just about everything with this app: -used it to slow down songs to practice and pick out notes that I’m not hearing at full speed -showed other musicians what a song would sound like a half step down (or whatever different key) for covers -when I’m sick with an ear infection, I can take a song and put it in here, take semitones down to hear it at my brain’s known key of the song to avoid pitch dissonance Love it, I think it needs some efficiency love and some UI upgrades but I’ll still use it! -- Phildous, 2025-04-19 ### ****- "Bugs" Hello! I have been using this app for about 6 years. The app never seems to remember that I have previous purchases. In other words I ALWAYS have to Restore previous purchases. Please fix. I’ve spent too much money and have used this app for too long to deal with the same issues for 3 years straight, It appears the devs of this app aren’t actively working on it. I will continue posting this review, lowering the number of stars each time until this is fixed. Thanks -- Ydntkmfn, 2025-04-10 ### **--- "No longer works" This app was fantastic, a great tool for teaching/learning music. I assume the issue with loading songs from iTunes comes from copyright issues. Really unfortunate. -- Jasbas, 2024-12-30 ### ***** "It’s a great app, but" It’s been three years. It’s probably time for an update. -- gateman145, 2024-11-28 ### ***-- "Good Features, difficult to use" This app is great for playing music at slower speeds and looping different portions of the track. I use it all the time when I teach dance classes or rehearse choreography. I wish there were an easier way to download songs. I also can’t seem to delete songs from the app once I no longer want to use them, as the delete feature doesn’t seem to be working? -- Michael891, 2024-09-14 ### *---- "Used to love it, now it isn’t supported" Man, this app was amazing back in 2014. I could let my imagination run wild with it. Now none of my purchases can be restored, and when I reinstalled they were there but don’t work. Really loved the pitch control. -- GRUNGESTRAT, 2024-09-10 ### **--- "Buggy App, Equilizer Not Working" Man this thing is heating my phone and I bought the equalizer hoping to isolate drums but every time I load a song it goes dark and I can’t use it, can I get my dollar back?? -- Cerka the Great, 2024-06-16 ### *---- "Warning: Apple Music Subscription Required" This app was great for slowing down dogs temporarily for my students while learning choreography, but I am unable to use it anymore because you can only access your iTunes music if you have an Apple Music subscription. Totally useless to me now. -- biochemkris, 2024-06-05 [View all Tempo SlowMo reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Tempo SlowMo In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Pitch/Key Change | $0.99 | | BPM Tapper | $0.99 | | Playlist Festure | $0.99 | | Remove Advert | $0.99 | | Equaliser Feature | $0.99 | | Balance Control | $0.99 | | Remove Advert 2 | $2.99 | | Remove Advert 3 | $4.99 | | Audio Import | $0.99 | ## Tempo SlowMo Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Nigeria | Music | #154 | ## Tempo SlowMo Discovered Keywords -
