### *---- "This app and IoT device are trash"
Like many others here, I cannot get this piece of junk to join any of my WiFi networks. An IoT device failing to connect to a working 2.4Ghz WLAN is utterly contemptible. I have gone through many of these wireless BBQ thermometers over the years and never had any issue joining these IoT devices. I would be less furious if I could at least use the Bluetooth connection to facilitate its functionality, but the setup routine in the device insists on just using a successful Bluetooth connection to join your WiFi where I suspect a hardware bug is the root of the problem. I opened a support ticket detailing the device failure, the already done troubleshooting steps (delete/reinstall app, hard reset, rejoin BT, reboot router, blah blah), and my disgust for how this failed to work out of the box. It’s been 5 business days and not A SINGLE RESPONSE FROM SUPPORT! Absolutely unacceptable and unforgivable!!

I was ever so excited when ThermoPro came out with the TempSpike Pro, which I hoped would replace my ThermoWorks Signals.   I’ve been using the TempSpikes Bluetooth for more than a year in my trailer.  I really like the app.  Silly me assumed the same app user experience would be available for the TempSpike Pro.  Nope.  This app is not a good user experience.  The hardware seems to work fine but I’m just really frustrated by the clunky app.   Fix the app experience please!!!

The app on the phone works well but on the Apple Watch, it’s pretty unreliable.  Seems to constantly need to reconnect and most of the time it doesn’t connect before the watch goes to sleep which seems to start the process over.   Also seem like if I have the app open on my phone, the app on the watch won’t connect but as soon as I force close the app on the phone, the watch will then connect.    I’m using an Apple Watch SE.

App is great at a glance but lacks some obvious features. Notifications aren’t showing up on screen. Phone vibrates and you have to open app to find out why. App randomly closes which means you lose your cook graph.

I have the Thermpro food thermometer (model TP-20), and with the Bluetooth sensor sitting right next to my phone and Bluetooth turned on, the app doesn’t see my device.

No issues setting up and connecting. 

There is a weird sawtooth pattern on the temp graph (I am not opening the grill causing temp deviations). 

The temp graph continuously stops recording and has to be restarted. 

The lapsed time on the graph is waaayyy off. I always set a stopwatch when I smoke meat and at 7 hrs actual the thermopro showed nearly 12 hrs.

Gotten 2 TempSpike pros thinking it was a hardware issue. Still can’t connect to WiFi through the app. Even went to my friend’s house to try their WiFi

### ***-- "Works great but missing some things"
Overall, the app and probes work great and do what they are supposed to. Easy to connect and provide accurate temperatures. Suggestions:
-Needs a button in the app to start/stop a cook. The app either picks up from my last cook or starts as soon as I take them out of their box.  Priority #1
-For some reason for longer cooks like a roast that takes 4+ hours, the app tracking will reset the time and historical data. 
-For me, the predictive end time either doesn't show up or is inaccurate. For my 8lb roast that is currently sitting at 100 degrees on low in my crock pot for the last 3 hours, the app estimates 30 minutes remaining... But it definitely has a few hours to go. 

If they can get some updates in, could definitely be a 5* app/product.
