## Tennessean Reviews in United States

### **--- "Tricky"
Impossible to change cookie preferences; no access to subscriber services ( just tells you to subscribe if you click on the link) so you cannot pause delivery. So, annoying.
-- alexbelex, 2024-12-14

### *---- "WORST APP EVER. AN INSULT TO SUBSCRIBERS"
Although I have subscribed to The Tennessean newspaper for about 15 years, that newspaper insults me with this App. Possibly the worst App on my iPad! It is very slow. It is not at all intuitive. It closes virtually every time that I use it; usually taking me back to page 1 after a long wait. I often speculate “The Tennessean wants to go out of business”. That’s how CLUNKY this app is!
-- fredziffel, 2024-11-10

### *---- "Impossible to manage"
Sometimes the app doesn't recognize I have a subscription. I have to login thru the web. Neither access gives me the option to cancel the subscription. I called and the rep sounds like they read a scrip and give me obvious steps I've already taken. Still doesn't solve the problem.
-- cookie*fan74, 2024-11-06

### **--- "Works horribly"
Simply trying to use it, always goes back to a homepage. Simply let me zoom in and out to read it without having to find it all over again
-- RTSmith76, 2024-11-04

### *---- "Review"
HORRIFIC Customer Service
-- TJR New, 2024-09-16

### ***-- "Ez pay"
I want to change the credit card on file but I can’t find how to.
-- Ilovedonnyos, 2024-08-26

### ***** "The Authority"
Excellent coverage for the Metro area and beyond. Titans coverage is next level!!
-- Boltfan, 2024-08-21

### *---- "Bad Graphics, Poor UI, Many Bugs and Way Too Many Adds"
Moved here recently from Dallas and used their app for almost a decade. I understand what a good-reading experience should be like. This app is frustrating. As soon as my subscription expires I will stop using it. 1- Web 1.0 user interface (buttons verses swiping through). Scanned-in articles… tragically old experience. Oh, looks nothing like the screenshots posted in the App-store! 2- Grainy images that are obviously scanned in at low DPI, and can’t be enhanced. 3- So many bugs, you can’t get through a single edition without it hanging. Sometimes displaying a blank screen. Other times, stupid buttons don’t work leaving you stuck on a page. I actually called support (was sent a reset password email as their solution). 4- Adds. One would think if you paid for something there would be less adds. No, there are pop-up and in-article adds in addition to the newspaper adds.
-- Jmweldon, 2024-08-20

### **--- "In-article ads causing issues"
I love reading the Tennessean, but recently I notice that ads are causing text to be unreadable because it pushes the text to the left, cutting off words. Please fix this.
-- Richthig, 2024-08-13

### *---- "Not Dependable"
I use the print version. While reading the system switches tothe online version. I have to shut down reboot and select enewspaper. Works sometimes. Lacks stability.
