## Tenuto Description
Tenuto is a collection of 24 highly-customizable exercises designed to enhance your musicality. From recognizing chords on a keyboard to identifying intervals by ear, it has an exercise for you. Tenuto also includes six musical calculators for accidentals, intervals, scales, chords, analysis symbols, and twelve-tone matrices.

• Key Signature Identification
• Interval Identification
• Scale Identification
• Chord Identification
Tap the button corresponding to the written staff line. For example: if shown a C, E, and G with a sharp; tap the "Augmented Triad" button.

• Key Signature Construction
• Interval Construction
• Scale Construction
• Chord Construction
Construct the specified label by moving notes and/or adding accidentals. For example: if shown a C and an "Augmented 4th" label, move the second note to F and add a sharp.

• Keyboard Reverse Identification
Tap the piano key corresponding to the written note on the staff. While similar to Note Identification, this exercise uses a piano keyboard rather than note name buttons.

Tap the button corresponding to the highlighted piano key(s). If the C and G keys are highlighted, tap the "P5" (Perfect 5th) button.

This app is absolutely superb, the tests are exactly what I needed to progress. My biggest fear with apps that are smaller than some of the really well supported ones is they can disappear in the future if they don’t keep up with the iOS. Please don’t let this happen I need this app forever!

I’m a guitarist. After many years playing the guitar this is the first tool which has really helped me to learn the fretboard. The fact that you can customise each exercise allows you to focus on you weaknesses, and improve them before moving on. I’ve used about 5% of the app exercises so far so still a lot to learn but looking forward to the journey.

What more can I say? This app is just superb. It is highly customisable and is helping me really firm up my musical foundations. I use it currently to test my chord shapes in Challenge mode, 50 chords and see how long it takes to name the chord, name the scale degree of the root note and to play it. Saying this out loud really helps drum it in. When I get below 5 minutes for 50 with no mistakes I change to another key.

An excellent app which is really helping my speed and understanding. There are still so many variations to work through that I expect this app to be in daily use for many months or years. My only suggestion to date (and I have not explored everything!) is that, while working through Interval Identification it would be useful to have the option to have the intervals displayed as “split” notes as well as stacked i.e. spread within a bar (measure). This would add further recognition patterns which would be frequently encountered in a score. 
I may come up with other suggestions as I work through it all but so far it has been brilliant and well worth the money.

This is an excellent app which can be easily configured for the different ABRSM Music Theory Grades. How about including descending scales in the Scale Identification and Scale Construction features ? 
Performance Directions would also be welcome, but then I

It offers superb exercises that you can tailor.

The note finder for piano is great but the note finder for guitar fretboard (whilst useful) sounds like a piano.

I'd also like to see a "scales and arpeggios" section as well as the randomised "note finder" sections.

Gave it 4 stars but it deserves 4.5 really.

This app is absolutely awesome. I can practice (ear training) intervals on the go! Which has helped no end. I usually do 100 intervals a day then 100 chords and some sight reading 150/200 notes. It's easy to commit to since it's on my iPhone at all times. 

I would love to see some more advanced sight reading exercises eg: chords (that have to be played)
