## Terma Smart Description
The Terma SMART application controls the Terma SMART WiFi smart heating system. The application and all devices included in the system communicate using Wi-Fi technology and a standard router. The Terma Smart application allows you to divide the facility into independent heating zones and adjust the temperature in each of them. The system provides full control, automation and energy savings thanks to advanced functions such as:
• SMART location mode turning on heating when the user approaches the house,
• programming weekly schedules,
• early start option,
• holiday mode,
• dryer mode,
• parental control,
• statistics for temperature, humidity and energy consumption

The system includes heating devices (electric radiators, thermostatic heads and electric heating elements), as well as temperature and humidity sensors and window opening sensors.

The app is quite confusing and not that intuitive. The default schedule doesn’t work so I had to create a new one. you can’t adjust the clock so it’s now an hour out, so I’ve had to manually adjust the schedules - there is no daylight saving option. You can’t input cost of electricity and get a running cost like I could with the old terms app, and the usage graphs don’t work anyway and don’t even show that the heater has been on.

Very poor device, doesn’t pair easily, looses connection, then app will not pair again, Technical support from Terma just tell you to delete app and reinstall, and the same problem is still there.

This app is fairly unreliable in operation. I have found it necessary to delete units regularly and reload the to make the features of the app work correctly. Pairing the device to wifi is clumbersome and trying to do it manually is imprecise as the touch buttons are not responsive to fingers. I found it necessary to use pencils to operate the touch buttons. Instructions for the app do not clarify what the icons in the app mean which is confusing.

### *---- "Will Terma support this platform?"
Just tried to use this to replace TermaBlue app which after a few year looks not to be supported. It didn’t work.
So now I have relatively new hardware (radiator and Bluetooth element) that is no longer fit for purpose as the software behind it has been made redundant. My expectation is heating systems should last for decades, not a couple of years.
