Revitalize a barren wasteland. Plant sprawling forests, purify soil and clean polluted oceans to turn a ravaged environment into an ecological paradise.
Transform a lifeless landscape into a thriving, vibrant ecosystem. Turn dead soil into fertile grassland and create the ideal habitat for animals to call home. Then recycle your buildings and leave no trace that you were there.
Features:
• Dive into a reverse city builder: Use advanced eco-technology to purify the soil, creating plains, wetlands, beaches, rainforests, wildflowers and more — then efficiently recycle everything you've built, leaving the environment pristine for its new animal inhabitants.
• Explore different maps every time: Procedurally generated landscapes mean no two play-throughs will ever be the same. Plan your build around randomized, challenging and unpredictable terrain, including snaking rivers, mountains, lowlands and oceans.
• Experience tranquility: Lush hand-painted environments, relaxing music and an atmospheric ambient soundscape make this game a peaceful, meditative experience. When you're done, use Appreciate mode to bask in the natural beauty of the ecosystem you have restored.

Terra Nil FAQ
Is Terra Nil free?
Yes, Terra Nil is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Terra Nil legit?
⚠️ The Terra Nil app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
What next?
To play the game you have to have an App Store account. Then you have to have a Netflix account. Then you can’t progress past the first level or two without encountering myriad paywalls. What a rip off!
The game is not well designed either. Bugs, bugs, and more bugs! I began to think the bugs were part of the “life”‘you are supposed to be creating. Nope - just sloppy programming.
A beautiful game riddle with bugs
This is such a refreshingly creative and beautiful game, but it’s riddled with bugs, some of which that can prevent you from progressing any further, particularly on the last level. What’s more is that the devs have been aware of these bugs for over a year now too and they haven’t done anything about it. It’s almost like they took their Netflix money and bailed. It’s such a shame, because Terra Nil has so much potential to be absolutely amazing.
So if you’re thinking of renewing a Netflix subscription just to play this game, don’t. It plays like an early beta version, and it’s not worth your time or money until they address their shoddy programming issues.
Love this game on iPhone but doesn’t scale on iPad
It’s too bad this game doesn’t scale properly on iPad! It would be beautiful. As it is, when you are zoomed all the way out on iPad is like being zoomed all the way in on iPhone. You can’t see enough of the board to do anything
Buggy
Update: After looking at other reviews, I came across one that explains my monorail issue and I’m back into it and moving forward in the game. Updating my rating to 3 stars, as I still haven’t gotten the sound to work and there is still lagging.
——————————————————————
I first downloaded and played Terra Nil all the way through last summer (2023). I really enjoy it and found the gameplay smooth and the graphics decent. For a simulation game, I liked that it was different. No people, farms, civilizations. Just ecosystems to restore. There was a great sound track of nature sounds and overall it was a calming and moderately challenging game to play. My only complaints were the overheating of my device after a while and disappointment that there weren’t more levels. I played it until there was nothing new for me to do or try and I had restored the “planet.” After that, I deleted the app to save some space on my phone. It’s so different now! Nowhere near as good! It’s been about a year since, and yesterday I decided I wanted to play again from the very beginning. So, I redownloaded Terra Nil. The gameplay is nothing like before. Not smooth at all. The action is laggy. It freezes up for a few seconds at a time. There is no sound at all. I checked the app sound settings. I checked my phone sound settings. Nothing. I’m currently stuck in the island region, where the monorail nodes come into play. No matter how many I build, the monorail station won’t unlock. Without that, I can’t seed any coral reefs or begin recycling structures. Without coral reefs, I can’t get to the third stage in the region, build a research station or look for animals. That all means I’ll never unlock any other regions or be able to move forward in the game. Completely disappointing! I hope the app gets fixed soon.
Constant crashes undermine a great premise
It just keeps crashing. I’ve closed all other apps, it still crashes. I rebooted my iPad, it still crashes. It’s just not ready for release. This should still be in beta.
UPDATE: I deleted this and walked away. Then I noticed that they released a new version. 0.5. I downloaded it and tried it again. And the crashes started again. Still not playable.
Just crashes
This would be such a fun a relaxing game but you can only get so far until it just continuously crashes.
Netflix has done it again!!!
lol. What goofy game. Like all Netflix games I’ve tried.
Unclear rules on how to play a game.
Painfully slow.
Boring/u interesting
If this is where subscriptions monies are going. I’m not gonna keep my subscription!! The movie and show selection is already horrible at this point. But they can’t even give us decent games!! Netflix has done it again!! Disappointment after disappointment!!!
Great wind-down game
Once I figured out the patterns I love the game! But please update and make more levels - some function much better than others.
Does it deserve a one star?
No idea, this game won’t let me play it. Says I need a Netflix account. Yet before downloading it, it never said anything about it.
So until Netflix allows people to play the game to see if it can be enjoyed, it will stay a 1 Star.
Crash central
My phone handles decently intensive games, and should be able to handle this so I don’t think it’s a hardware or storage issue (I have plenty available). Crashes so regularly, tried uninstalling then reinstalling and still crashes frequently. Would be a great game if it was playable.
