TerraConfig is a practical and efficient app for qualified electricians or engineers to commission, configure and maintain the ABB Terra AC wall box.
The app is exclusively designed for ABB Terra AC wall box. It provides the wall box with an extended set of digital features and is required to safely configure the charger.
To use the TerraConfig app a dedicated account is needed. If you don’t have an account yet, reach out to your local ABB representative to have them setup an account for you.
Main features include:
Configuration: Commission and configure a Terra AC wall box via Bluetooth. You can configure a network gateway (WiFi, LAN and 4G on selected models) to connect the charger to the internet.
Safety: To create a safe and reliable charging experience for the user of the charger, use TerraConfig to adjust its maximum charging power, load balance thresholds and other electrical features to match the upstream installation and to comply with local regulations.
Synchronize: Sync and upload the configuration of the Terra AC wall box to the ABB backend.
Firmware Update: TerraConfig makes updating the firmware of the Terra AC wall box simple and fast. Download the firmware update once and upload it to multiple Terra AC wall boxes if needed.
Terra AC is ABB latest wall box for AC charging electric vehicles with up to 22kW. The wall box comes with extended networking and connectivity features as standard and is accompanied by two smartphone applications and web portals.

Je possède une borne de recharge ABB Terra AC depuis juin 2022.
Il y a une semaine impossible de mettre en charge ma voiture. L’application indiquait l’erreur suivante : offline-sessions quantity exceeded.
J’ai coupé l’alimentation générale. Rien ….
J’ai contacté à plusieurs reprises, sur le formulaire de contact et par e-mail, le Service clients ABB … inexistant … rien … aucun support. Un seul message me suggérant de contacter mon installateur.
Mon installateur, perdu le pauvre, il attend toujours l’aide d’un technicien ABB.
En campagne, sans borne publique. Impossible d’aller travailler !!!!
J’ai installé l’application TerraConfig(legacy). J’ai essayé plein de manipulations sur cette dernière. Elle m’a notamment permis de faire une mise à jour du micro logiciel de la box. Il y en avait de nombreuses en retard. Je n’avais jamais eu de signalement de demande de mise à jour. Effectivement, cela m’a permis de pouvoir réutiliser ma box. Je tiens à préciser que la mise à jour du micro logiciel par l’application ChargerSync(legacy) ne fonctionne pas.
J’ai payé mon installation 1300€.
Je suis dépitée de la non-assistance d’ABB et des dysfonctionnements de l’application. C’est un réel irrespect des clients qui ont fait confiance à ce fournisseur.
Je m’en vais de ce pas informer les associations de consommateurs quant au suivi du service clients d’ABB au regard de ces produits nouveaux.
