Why is there never info about what has changed? I think it’s because Tesla is making changes that will take all your video and personal data and sell it. Until they start sharing real release notes we need to assume they are up to no good.

Rented a Tesla from Budget. They offered no instructions on driving it, or on using the app. The app accommodates owners, not renters. Supposedly there is a QR code you can access for this. Try to find it. We spent hours looking, and calling both companies. Elon Musk has 12 children. There goes the gene pool.
I would give 10 stars if i could, these people complaining have no idea how bad other ev apps are. Ford pass for instance is at a 4.7 and this is 3.7 as of writing!! The Ford app is HORRENDOUS! I mean i literally bought my tesla through this app, i can turn on dog mode and check that he is ok, etc. it works so good and all the time. For anyone giving less than 4 stars, i beg you, rent and use any other ev app. You have no idea how good you have it
All of these bad reviews are completely fake. App works 100% of the time, does more than any other car company, and comes at no cost
My entire Tesla experience, from my initial test drive on Valentine’s Day in 2021, to ordering and purchasing ON LINE, to having the car delivered to my home, all the way to today’s drive to a doctor’s appointment has been amazing. Unlike any other car ownership experience I’ve had in over 50 years of driving! The app on my iPhone is a big part of that amazing experience. In my pocket, I carry around a quick, nearly flawless connection to my car. When I was in Japan a couple months ago, I could easily and quickly connect to my car at home, check via camera its condition and location. Today, I was able to get the a/c going as I was wrapping up my appointment as it was already 100 degrees outside. When I got in the car it was an oasis of 68 degrees inside. Simply amazing! My wife’s ‘21 VW ID.4 also has an app. While the car itself is rock solid (reliable, easy to live with, great road tripper - and we’ve had zero software issues), the app compared to Tesla’s is light years behind. It’s like comparing apples to rocks. True, the phone key doesn’t always work, meaning the car won’t unlock to let me in. Usually a quick tap on the phone’s side button fixes that in quick order. Now and then the phone key will unlock the car but then I get in and try to put the car in gear only to be told I need to get my key card out. And that seems to be getting a more common situation. But I’ll take those minor annoyances any day of the week and twice on Sunday to enjoy all the wonderful benefits of the phone key! They far outweigh the little issues. An absolutely amazing app. Mostly!
This used to work, but now the values are wildly inaccurate.
