## Tether Description
Tether is a Book of Mormon reading app that helps people build a consistent daily scripture study habit through short, guided reading sessions.

Tether breaks the Book of Mormon into manageable passages, follows each passage with a simple question, and tracks reading progress through streaks, XP, levels, and progress with friends.

More than 10,000 readers have used Tether, completing over 100,000 guided Book of Mormon reading sessions.

GUIDED BOOK OF MORMON READING

Tether gives you a clear reading path through the Book of Mormon, so you always know what to read next.

Each session includes a short passage from the Book of Mormon followed by a simple comprehension question. This structure encourages active reading and makes scripture study easier to begin and complete.

Tether is designed for guided daily reading and habit-building, not as a general scripture library or official Church study app.

BUILD A DAILY SCRIPTURE STUDY HABIT

Complete short reading sessions, maintain a daily streak, earn XP, level up, and track your progress through the Book of Mormon.

Daily reminders and streak freezes help you keep building your reading habit, even when consistency has been difficult in the past.

READ THE BOOK OF MORMON WITH FRIENDS

Add friends on Tether and create friend streaks by completing your daily scripture study together.

Friend streaks give friends a shared reason to read each day, creating encouragement and accountability. Support each other’s progress and build stronger scripture-reading habits together.

• Short, guided Book of Mormon reading sessions

• A clear reading path through the Book of Mormon
• Daily scripture reading streaks
• XP, levels, and reading progress
• Friends, shared progress, and friend streaks

WHO TETHER HELPS

Tether is especially useful for people who want to read the Book of Mormon but struggle with consistency, focus, long chapters, or knowing where to begin.

It is built for first-time readers, returning readers, and anyone looking for a clear, guided way to study the Book of Mormon.

Whether you are beginning the Book of Mormon, starting again, or rebuilding your scripture study habit, Tether gives you one clear next step:

Read a short passage. Answer a question. Complete your session. Return tomorrow.

Tether’s habit-building features are designed to help readers consistently engage with the Book of Mormon and grow closer to Jesus Christ.

Tether is independently developed and is not an official application of or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

### ***** "Game Changer"
As a duo addict this is amazing! I love love love this idea and once I do a lesson, I do several more. The chapters are broken up into a few lessons and are so manageable! Love it!
-- Londyt.ak, 2026-06-04

### **--- "amazing+new ideas for dev"
dude this app is awesome, it’s burning that fire in me to read again. but with that i’ve been using this app for my reading rather than the traditional scriptures app and since tether has questions to answer and stuff it makes me understand and read the verses in more depth and i learn things i didt know before. what i think would be awesome is if you found a way to add highlighting verses. you could just do it mid read and then at the bottom of home page there could be tabs where you add highlights and you could even add mistakes, where you can redo questions. i think this would be an amazing addition if possible and helps so many people. thanks man keep up the work love what your doing

### ***** "Amazing scripture study tool"
What an incredible app! If you like the learning patterns of Duolingo, then you’re gonna love this! It is very similar! I taught Seminary for a little while and I think that this would be incredible for students who are trying to better their reading comprehension of scripture. You should definitely give it a try!
-- Bro Borman, 2026-06-03

### ***** "Ts is gonna help me to finally commit to reading the Book of Mormon"
Using this app is fun and helps me not only just read the Book of Mormon, but also understand what’s going on in little chunks so that my attention span can commit to actually trying to reading it. I’m very happy this is an app and that I get to be alive the same time it is an app.👍👍
-- Jakob Ingebretsen, 2026-05-28

### ***** "I LOVE THIS"
This app is truly amazing. It makes me actually want to continue reading and helps me focus on the details happening in every verse.
