Infinite color. Step into the 4th dimension of modern jazz harmony. Tetratonics reveals the secret behind modern jazz voicings: take a major or minor triad you already know, add one carefully chosen color tone, and superimpose the resulting 4-note tetratonic structure over any chord. The result is immediate - beautiful, sophisticated harmony within reach. The ultimate harmonic laboratory for improvisers, composers, and arrangers, bridging the gap between abstract theory and concrete sound. --- THE CORE SYSTEM: 10 CURATED STRUCTURES Tetratonics curates the 10 highest-value "Triad + 1" combinations used in contemporary jazz: - 6 Major-Based: (b2), (2), (#2), (4), (#4), (b6) - 4 Minor-Based: -(b2), -(2), -(4), -(#4) Optimized for harmonic beauty and functionality, every combination sounds incredible. --- THE SOUND STUDIO [NEW IN 2.0] Tetratonics is no longer just a visualizer - it's a premium, high-fidelity auditioning space. Rebuilt on a zero-latency audio engine, our glassmorphic Sound Studio lets you play and mix voicings across two independent layers. Assign 17 gain-staged instruments (8 chord pads, 9 melodic leads) with perfect perceived-loudness parity - no volume adjustments needed when switching timbres. --- CONTEXT-AWARE AUDIO ENGINE [NEW IN 2.0] Our Harmonic Intelligence engine dynamically adapts underlying chord voicings to match your chosen scale perfectly. - 6 Voicings: Root Position, Open I (Drop 2), Open II (Drop 3), Tetratonic (upper structures), Shell (Root + 7th), or Root Only. - Articulation: Select Strum Up, Strum Down, or Block. Adjust strum speed, note spacing (Loose-to-Tight), and choose from 4 velocity contours (Flat, Rise, Fall, Accent Root). - Custom Sequencer: Drag-and-drop to reorder scale pitches into custom melodic licks, or apply 7 geometric arpeggio patterns like "Arc" or "Pendulum." --- THE HARMONIC VISUALIZER Our stunning visualizer maps exactly how your chosen tetratonic structure relates to your underlying chord on a 12-tone chromatic ring: - See the tetratonic pitches form a unique geometric shape reflecting precise intervallic relationships. - Notes are color-coded by harmonic function: Core Tones (blue), Sevenths (green), Natural Extensions (amber), and Altered Tensions (crimson). - Tap any note for an instant preview, or pivot your starting point with a tap. --- FLAWLESS ENHARMONIC CALCULATION Drop a Triad + 1 structure over any chord and our analytical engine decodes the result. The app distinguishes between complex contextual choices (knowing when an interval functions as a b5 vs a #11, or b13 vs a #5) and outputs the perfect, standard-compliant jazz chord symbol (e.g., Cmaj7(9/#11), G7(alt)). The intelligent scale builder respects the enharmonic gravity of your chord - over flat roots, you see flats; over sharp roots, you see sharps. Every pitch is spelled correctly. --- THE CONTROL ISLAND & FAVORITES A tactile interface designed for quick adjustments. Rapidly switch between the 10 master archetypes and see your tetratonic formula. When you stumble upon a killer voicing, tap the star icon to save it, and instantly preview or audition it directly from your Favorites library with a single tap. --- DESIGNED FOR MUSICIANS, BY MUSICIANS Built to feel like a high-end piece of gear: - Adaptive Layout: Shifts perfectly between portrait reference and landscape practice modes. - Premium Dark Mode: A "liquid glass" aesthetic that preserves your vision on lit stages. - Haptic Touch: Tuned tactile haptics sync perfectly with note triggers to make the screen feel like a physical instrument. - Pro-Audio Resilience: Rebuilt on a robust signal chain that gracefully handles interruptions (calls, Siri) and headphone changes without dropping a beat. - Strictly Offline: Zero ads, zero subscriptions, zero data collection. Runs entirely locally on your device.
