Just got beat. Had jacks and sevens, and somehow jacks and fours beat me? Then I had a straight, my opponent had three of a kind. How did I lose? If I were in the Wild West and that happened, guns would’ve been blazin’. Seriously, even though I went all in at the turn, they had the guts to stay in for the river? 5 times in a row and I still lost on the river?

Something has been updated. I’ve had multiple bad beats on the river recently. And im not just talking about the computer getting a pair on the river with 7/2 off suit. I’m talking catching flushes on the river when I’ve got a flush and the computer has one of the flush suit. Wasn’t experiencing this 6 months ago and before that. Took a very sharp downturn

How to win in this game: Fold every hand that’s not a monster until all but one bot is out of chips, then keep folding until the bot checks (happens 1 in ten times maybe) then do a modest raise pre-flop and go all in on the turn. Rinse and repeat.

The AI will bet every hand except complete and utter trash as soon as you push them  it’s gg.

The game has an excellent interface and plays well, but it’s just broken. Nothing wrong with betting pre flop. But the AI will consistently go near all in with their chips pre flop and 9/10 end up with a strong hand like a flush or full house. The amount of times I’ve seen 4 of a kind is insane. They don’t register bluffing either. So you’re going to be folding until your get a strong hand off the deal and bet all of your chips just to see the flop which will give the AI the better hand anyways.

I don’t normally write reviews, especially not ones this lengthy, but this game has broken me to the point of submission. All of the other negative reviews are right, this game is absolute trash and undoubtedly the WORST mobile game I have EVER had the displeasure of playing; not because it’s bad or because I’m unskilled, the game is the worst because it has the potential to be the best. I LOVE Texas Hold’em, and this game is phenomenal in its gameplay, and there are no ads nor in-app purchases to be found. It is killed by the worst AI ever coded into a game, combined with stacked odds. Firstly, you are not given enough money when you buy in, so the first hand played often requires you to go all-in because the bots all just raise each other one after another. Secondly, the bots randomly go all-in themselves for no reason before the flop half the time, causing you to blindly match them or go all-in yourself based solely on your pocket. Thirdly, 95% of the hands you are dealt are absolute garbage and, to add insult to injury, on the RARE occasion that you DO get anything decent, the normally gung-ho bots will all fold the second you bet even the MINIMUM amount possible. I can confidently say that this game has worse odds than any casino I’ve ever been to, and I would happily pay a few dollars like $4.99 to purchase this game if they simply fixed those issues. It has the potential to be the greatest poker game on the app-store, but for now, it isn’t.

I’ve had a lot of fun with this game but real poker strategy doesn’t work very well. The bots frequently have ridiculous hands or will go all in with trash and be rewarded for it. It happens extremely frequently and after a while it starts to make you question why you are even playing. Sometimes things feel borderline scripted.

Played this app for 2 days and regularly went against low numbered off suit hand that would make huge bets continuously. Not something you’d see in casino’s or competitive online. If you’re looking for practice, look elsewhere. This app borders on the absurd and doesn’t not a legitimate practice platform. App has been deleted.

Real “poker” doesn’t have these egregiously pre-decided outcomes… the bots get full houses, straights, flushes—constantly. You’ll never win with a two pair or a three of a kind. The bots are also too trigger-happy with the bets (probably because they know the odds are stacked in their favor).
