Free version can’t open files
Free version can’t open the txt I downloaded from an app. Asks for paid subscription. Too bad something so fundamental is not free.

Not working after update
After 50 updates in 3 days app doesn’t work anymore
Subscription required for basic usage
The app lets you edit files about 3 times and then you’re required to pay for the subscription onwards. Absolutely a brick of an app afterwards.

Forced to update?
Blocked from using original text edit? Forced to updated to new Text Edit with all kinds of new features? A basic text editor is all that I need. Nothing more - BASIC TEXT EDITING. Text edit is no longer is up for the task. Forced to update? Nope, buh-bye. App deleted.
