However, I have completed all the available levels, up to 94, and the majority of the souvenir tasks. Completing the daily tasks, especially ially finding 25 extra words is getting monotonous as the only games I can do are Birdle, treasure chest, and 3 games which are finding flowers, trinkets and animals. My reasons are: 1. The forced ads. Previously, this game was ad free. You watched ads when you needed a reward. But now these ads are very frequent which stops the flow of the game. Not only are there forced ads all the time, some of these ads force you to watch for 30 seconds. When I approached the devs about this, I was asked to record the ads or to pay £9.99 for ad free or to buy the golden ticket, which you pay weekly, monthly or annually. I will not pay because of reason 2. 2. There is no news on when new levels and story will be added. I have already completed the story levels and I’m on VIP level 5. I have no reason to play this game anymore as I have nothing to play for. Which leads me to reason 3. 3. The special events have stopped. Last year we got some great events where you could win outfits for Tilly and Eleanor, but we haven’t had any of these for such a long time. All we’ve been getting is Perfect Day. I am so disappointed with this game now. It’s a great spin on those crossword app games, I love how you added story to it, as well as many other little word minigames. Excellent work on the part of those who developed the game. I will say upfront though, I did not buy the golden ticket. It was *extremely extremely* grindy gameplay just to reach Level 75. I hate that EXP wallet mechanic, it grinds the story to a halt, it doesn’t let you play at your own pace, and it takes forever for you to unlock new locations. This is a deviation from the other GameHouse games which allowed you to play at your own pace. I get it, this is to push you to buy the golden ticket. But I’m not one of those players. Also now that I am at Level 75, I will say this: Do not promise magic stories in your ads when that’s not even in your game yet! This is false advertising. I was excited to see the world of magic, and a huge amount of what was promised in the ads was not there. I get it, it will appear later, but be more honest and show the actual story while you have it. I don’t appreciate the dishonest story marketing.
