I have a bad bout of laryngitis right now and have lost most of my ability to talk. This app is easy to use, accessible, and you can even customize the voices on it to make it feel more like you. Without this app, I would have had little to no way of talking to others conveniently and easily.

Plus, unlike most text to speech apps, nothing is behind a paywall. I'm sure that's a relief for the sick and the disabled who want their voices back. The creator is very generous in that regard.
