Textastic is a comprehensive and versatile text and code editor for iPad and iPhone. It supports syntax highlighting of more than 80 programming and markup languages. Connect to SFTP, FTP, and WebDAV servers or to your Dropbox account. Use the built-in SSH terminal to work directly on your server.

Hibás és megbízhatatlan
Az alkalmazás iPhone 15 Pro Max telefonon rossz, tele van hibákkal. Még külső billentyűzet és egér nélkül is rossz, nem méghogy azzal! Ad-hoc jelleggel lefagy, majd ezt követőn az újraindításkor lesz látható, hogy a beírt adatok elvesztek. Ez a mostani állapot, a 2024. év májusában elérhető verzióval, de az előző verziókban is rengeteg volt a hiba, amit a készítő ad-hoc módon javított, amolyan hobbista hozzáállással. Az alkalmazás logikai elrendezése vetekszik az elviselhető és az illogikus térféllel, a felhasználói felülete borzalmas, legjobb esetben is csak áttekinthetetlen. Egyáltalán nem ajánlom ezt az alkalmazást, még csak hobbista célokra sem, nemhogy még kódoláshoz!

Great Software!
I have been using Textastic for a could of month as main code editor and SSH client and I love it. The interface is easy to use and thekeyboard is just great! There is only two thing missing: One is the ability to categorize connections in groups and the other one is more Siri Shortcuts commads (like: start SSH session to... or open remote folder). These two things would make Textastic perfect. I hope these will be added in the future.

Awesome app but Freezes
This app is really cool, it helps me a lot when I would like to code while on the road or when I have just my iPad around. (Note iOS 11.2.5) But nowadays it crashes a lot when I want to check a HTML and the app somehow did nit finish the upload to cloud. Its a bit painful as I need to restart the iPad every time, the restart of the app didn't solve it 😕 I think iOS have a bug, cause this came up even with other apps.

No puedo subir los archivos a al servidor, todo el tiempo marca un error.
wish there was
I wish there was option to view the remote files instead of downloading and viewing. Also i wish there was option to save the shell commands. Else its 5 star.
Best app for coding on the go
I’ve tried several other editors for iOS and Textastic has stayed the best solution for iOS
