Where is PgUp/PgDn?

Iprenmannens syster on

This is in my experience the best text editor on the iPad, however it lacks a few features that prevents it from being more than something almost usable. - All the iPad keyboards I have ever seen lacks dedicated PgUp/Dn keys, so you need to emulate it with arrow + modifier. Without theese two, scroll keys, or at least the vim shortcuts (also not suppported) login in to a remote server and using vim/emacs is just more practical. I am somewhat curious why this wasnt implemented in version 1 or 2, since it is a pretty obvious and major shortcomming, for anybody trying to actually use this. - Many BT keyboards ends up giving you § and ± instead of tilde and backtick. Adding a remapping feature where you can enter a key and (important) FREELY select what that character should send, would be a huge improvement!

Good App but syntax highlighting markdown is not correct!

breuzelaar on

Your app is ok but syntax markdown is not correct. Examples: > sometext This syntax Is a block quote in markdown. Previewing shows just an indentation and not as a typical markdown block quote. Why is the background of markdown preview “black” in Textastic. === is in markdown a horizontal line. In Textastic markdown preview the horizontal line is sticking to left and right margins. A preview in Workingcopy of that same markdown file shows no horizontal line, instead I see === (yes in preview mode) How can I create a table? Of course in SublimeText and Visual Studio Code there are some smart people who create extensions. I am quite sure both developers of WorkingCopy and Textastic are smart people as well, please check your syntax highlighting otherwise I have to state here your apps are not worth the money. Yes I purchased both apps. Come on Guys, please check the syntax. I would really appreciate the update. ;-)

Very good for pro and beginners.

I use this app for many years. For minor changes on websites of customers when on the road. For try out new things when out off office. For teaching young people to code html css and javascript. Amazing stable app.

Dit is een fijne app om onderweg code te schrijven wanneer je je laptop niet bij de hand hebt. Bij elke update is de app weer meer compleet. Ook superhandig voor Markdown, inclusief preview!
