The app works some times and not others. I would like to simply block texts from anyone not in my contacts. The app has this feature, and it used to work, but stopped working for some reason.
Pros: -Technically it works to filter spam texts. Cons: -I have 5 keywords blocked and now I can no longer add any more keywords. -Once you add a keyword or can never un-add it. -There’s no actual customer support that you can talk to. I guess they have “problem” in their blocked keyword list for their product.
I am currently doing the trial but if I can’t get past this 5 keyword limit, I will cancel the subscription. It doesn’t make any sense to put that kind of limitation in this app especially when it’s subscription based. Fix this or lose a subscriber and get a 1 star rating.
Sometime since I got my new phone, I cannot log into the app anymore. It’s still working in the background a I still see all the filters in iMessage, but when I try to sign in to update a filter, I try to log in through either Apple or using my phone number and one of two things happens: 1. It won’t send me a code 2. I receive a code, but when I enter it it says it’s the wrong code. Oddly when I sign in through Apple, no code. When I sign in through my phone number I get a code, says it’s the wrong code, then when I search for it in my messages, it’s like it never existed. This has now happens multiple times spanning more than a week. Please fix this bug so I can add more filters. Thank you, and warm regards.
Love the app. It definitely gets rid of the majority of spam. I wish they had an option that when one of the texts is in the junk folder, there was a way to say ‘It’s not junk.’ Had this issue w/ my car in the shop-texts from the shop didn’t get through & neither did the Uber rides I was trying to get. Otherwise good job.
Hard to manage. Very limited and they keep seeking you on more services without proving they are effective
I’m glad there is a free trial because the app just does not work at all. Of the four spam messages I’ve been sent in the last day the app has caught exactly none of them. The only spam message it’s caught was it’s own test message. Also: if you turn on “smart blocking” AI feature the app just seems to turn it off. Relaunch the app and your setting is forgotten.
I turned on smart blocking, and added keywords, but I would still get notifications when unwanted texts came through. I went into my phone settings and turned off notifications from unknown callers, which works - but I’m also not getting notifications for texts I do want but aren’t in my contacts. Other than adding adding those numbers to my contacts, I’m not sure how to get notifications.
Ocassionally works then it seems settings change. After enterng a number of keywords to block (5) it suddenly refuses to add additiona items with no clue why. I'm about to cancel subscription as there appears to be no customer service contact to question and no response from them.
