## TFV Connect Description
TFV Connect is Timaru’s Family Vet’s secure client portal, designed to make everyday communication with our clinic easier, clearer, and more convenient.

With TFV Connect, you can contact our team for common non-urgent requests without needing to phone the clinic every time. It helps keep your pet’s care conversations organised in one place and gives our team the information we need to help you efficiently.

Use TFV Connect to:

* View pets linked to your clinic account
* Send secure messages to the Timaru’s Family Vet team
* Request repeat medications
* Submit medication details, including drug name, strength, frequency, how your pet is doing, and extra notes
* Request appointments or appointment changes
* Receive replies from the clinic in your message thread
* Send or receive photos and attachments when needed
* View clinic announcements and updates
* Read pet care education content
* Manage notification and app settings

Logging in is simple. Use the email address registered on your Timaru’s Family Vet account, and we’ll send you a one-time login code by email.

TFV Connect is best for routine, non-urgent communication such as repeat medication requests, appointment requests, general questions, updates requested by the clinic, and sharing photos or information when our team has asked for them.

Please remember: TFV Connect is not for emergencies or urgent concerns.

If your pet is unwell, injured, in pain, deteriorating, or needs same-day attention, please phone Timaru’s Family Vet directly on 03 746 4144.

TFV Connect helps make routine pet care communication simpler for clients and more organised for our clinic team, while keeping phone lines clearer for urgent calls.

Timaru’s Family Vet
Caring for your pets, connected with you.
