TGS App Reviews

Very Unreliable

Ale% J on

Australia

When it works, it will slowly but surely serve its purpose . But unfortunately, most of the time it won’t work at all. You might get lucky and have a flawless setup - after which you must cross your fingers that it will let you sign back in when your session lapses. Or, you might never be able to sign into the app because you get an error message saying “request timed out” every time you enter your username and password. This wouldn’t be so much of a problem the app was a ‘supplementary’ platform to the desktop insite/canvas/Tnet system. But unfortunately, many of the functions of the app are exclusive to the app. These are things like time-sensitive alerts and news, absentee requests, etc.

Poor performance

You have to login in again many times which requires username and password even though the Face ID is enabled and you just logged in yesterday. The login experience is terrible. It is hardly responding sometimes. Very difficult to use.

You have to log in after sport notifications

luchawk on

Australia

After a sport notice is pushed out you have to log back into the app several times because there appears to be an unauthorized error. The wait time to get onto the tgs login page is also abysmal compared to regularly logging into the app when there isn’t a sport notice. This needs to be fixed because it takes more than 20 minutes to see a sport cancellation when it should be instantaneous.

Issues for teachers who are parents

Many features like leave requests unable to be used by teachers who are also parents of students at Trinity. Please fix. Thanks
