Been an app only subscriber for about two years. The latest update has blocked me from seeing any articles, please subscribe. Newsflash you’re still billing me. I’m essentially paying for something I cannot use absolutely rubbish.
General happy with the app’s performance but it would be really useful if it enabled pinch to zoom.
How many times do I have to verify my membership and regular payments to prove I am a subscriber to this publication? About to read a story and suddenly come to a dead end and even then filling in the info is rarely accepted that I am a member. Twists and turns eventually let me continue, This is frustrating and just plain hopeless as it occurs at least every week. So annoying when the cost is regularly debited to my account, without fail. Not good enough.
Often it asks for subscription when already subscribed. My Account in Settings shows correctly but still the “members only” content isn’t available. No way of contacting online.
Pretty slack in this digital age when you can’t load the latest crossword by 5 am!!
Was great until the last app update a couple of days ago, now I cannot read the stories, it says sign in or restore you subscription. Deleted the app and. Installed again, still won’t work. If you are going to release updates ensure they at least work. Had this subscription for a long time, Very unhappy.
This app is currently using 19GB of my iPhone storage. It quite often crashes and is very slow to load. Not worth it.
On many days, I am unable to open the current day’s edition. The screen shows yesterday’s edition and does not allow to read the current day’s edition. After a few tries, I delete the app then go to the App Store to reload the app. Generally, but not always the app then opens on the current edition. If not, I give up for the day and try again the following day which means I am not able to read the previous day’s edition.
The amount of different email subscriptions this app signs you up for is unreal, the constant spam. The amount of times I have to unsubscribe texts and emails just to get it to stop!! And you have to call a hotline if you want to cancel your membership? They don’t even cancel the same day, it’s takes 3 - 4 business days to cancel!!!??!!
