Those days have long gone. It is worth subscribing to but NOT at the full price they are asking. The price does not compare favourably with international newspaper subscriptions. There is too much puerile nonsense and click bait scam advertising here. For local Victorian news it is better than the alternative but it is a long way from a complete news organisation now. Predictable and shallow reporting are unfortunately there when in depth reporting by experienced writers is required. We are currently subscribed at a discount rate. Bring back the “highlighted headlines functionality or at least disable the activation when zoomed in. 2. Returning from the alternate format occasionally returns to the front page instead of the page I left. 3. After closing the app, it no longer remembers where I last was in that edition and returns me to the front page instead. 4. After minimising and reactivating the app, it rarely returns to the last accessed page and often displays a blank page instead. 5. If I switch to another app while the paper is downloading, the download stops and won’t restart until the app has been closed and reopened.
