The app is free to download. You can unlock unlimited access to all content with a Starter Digital subscription through the App Store. To unlock premium features such as Today's Paper and puzzles including Daily Crosswords and Daily Sudoku, you can subscribe to Premium Digital via in-app purchase.

Additional information about Apple subscriptions:

- Purchase of an auto-renewable, monthly subscription is required to access content on The Age app

- Starter Digital subscriptions are available for AU$19.49 per month (or local currency equivalent)

- Premium Digital subscriptions are available for AU$28.99 per month (or local currency equivalent)

- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase

- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your iTunes App Store Account Settings after purchase

I have always been an age reader to get the real news The Harvey Norman adds do the paper a disservice But maybe financially needed If there is no age I will not read another pape

PRICE INCREASE.!!!

AND STILL FLOODED WITH FULL PAGE ADD WRAPS RIDDLED WITH MULTIPLE FULL PAGE ADDS AGAIN EVERY SUNDAY 68% OF THIS PAPER FULL PAGE ADDS AND DELIVERY…. WHEN IT ACTUALLY GETS DELIVERED, RARELY, ENDS UP ON THE ROAD & STOLEN.! NOW JUST A PATHETIC RETAIL CATALOGUE & THE APP WORSE THAN FACEBOOK..!! AND STILL A PRICE INCREASE.. CROOKS..!!!

The age best reading better than nine msn and ABC for news

Great reading better than news.com.au and other news apps there headlines are not true to what the story should be about compared to better reading like the age.

On an arrogant downhill path.

It’s no longer a model of news currency but a daily version of ‘Womans Day’. Same can probably be said of printed version but at least there you are not subjected to age old articles being repeated time and time again. How snide the last compulsory update which was not accompanied by an explanation that it contained a price increase for using the app i.e the ‘in app purchase’ price per month as increased to $30.99. How arrogant.

Garbage when compared to the old app. News always out of date. Letters are from the previous day. Terrible in comparison to the old app. No latest news section that I can find. Also why is there a daily preview on NSW horse racing but nothing for Vic. Also no functionality to either increase the font size or zoom to make for easier reading.

There is something of interest for everyone in The Age, and quality journalism is assured. Scandal and trivialities are dealt with in due proportion, if at all. Agree, but I’m obliged to download pages that I never read. I never read the detailed SPORT pages. Sport related highlights in the news pages suffice, Other readers may have no interest in the FINANCIAL pages. Thanks for the opportunity to comment. John Gordon-Kirkby
