Once I select an article to read, the title, the cover image, the first paragraph do not show at all for 90% articles. For 10% articles it loads after about 20-30 seconds. Refreshing the page does nothing to help load or increase the loading speed. This issue has been ongoing for almost a year. Really surprised nobody fixed it.
App does not load top portion of article, issue for more than a month, keeps showing the busy icon Not able to email support with screenshot, pls help and refund my subscription- not been able to use it
The world is a confused place. If one needs a source of clarity of what is there , but you can not see it , the Atlantic will help you steady yourself . Thankyou Atlantic for the resourceful in-depth analysis & study which are shared . Godspeed .
Love the app. Sensibly designed with just the right amount of information displayed at a time, extremely easy and intuitive to use, and needless to say, stellar journalism to read. Have never faced a single issue. The adaptive dark mode is such a boon to have.
It crashes a little, lags a little but thats probably because it was optimized for better devices than the 3GS. I love it - lots of quality content.
I’ve loved The Atlantic app for so long. You removed saved articles from the navigation and added extra steps to save and view them. Why the added steps? This is a step in the wrong direction. Please go back to how it was. Frustrations like this lead people to consider unsubscribing.
I have to delete and re-install the app at least once every few months in order to access content. It shouldn’t be this hard to get the app to work correctly.
The Atlantic itself is great but every other day the app had me sign up again which did not work. Deleting and reinstalling did but after ten or so times of this hassle I gave up and canceled. Too bad!
Latest update made it more difficult to save and view saved articles. I don’t need or want audio content; I subscribed to a print journal because I want to read the pieces not listen to them. So prioritizing that at the bottom of the screen instead of the saved articles feature is useless, and makes it more likely that I will read less, or just unsubscribe.
