The Biological Reboot is a private companion to the book: read, ask questions, and keep a practical record of the everyday habits you choose.

TODAY
Keep daily observations and review available Apple Health readings, including sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, movement, and cardio fitness. Each reading keeps its source and date. Missing readings stay unavailable rather than turning into an invented score. Choose up to two practices in your Planning Sheet and find them again in Today.

BOOK AND SOURCES
Read the complete embedded book offline. Search chapters, save your place, and explore Sources & citations with direct DOI and PubMed links. The reading aid explains unfamiliar framework terms inside the app; you do not need to have read the book first.

THE MAP
Explore the book's 22-lock framework and open its explanations. The Map is an educational index, not a measurement of your molecular state or a diagnosis.

ASK, YOUR WAY
Ask questions using the embedded Book, Pocket DNA, and Mechanism Chain references as distinct sources. Relevant passages are retrieved for the question; the entire book is not sent with each request.

Search embedded book passages, use on-device glossary explanations and saved-record lookups, or transcribe text from a photo using Apple's local text recognition. These local tools do not generate book interpretations. For complex questions, choose Claude, GPT, or Gemini and connect your own API key. Cloud answers and supported attachment or web-research features require your provider choice, its disclosure, and an explicit Send. Provider capabilities differ. The app never switches to a cloud provider or sends your draft automatically. Starter and follow-up suggestions become editable drafts, so you can review your question and attachments before pressing Send. The core app works without AI.

STACK AND PLANNING
Keep a supplement and medication reference list, review framework context and cautions, and record your own practice choices. The app does not prescribe, adjust medication, or create a treatment regimen.

SIRI AND SHORTCUTS
On supported iOS versions, shortcuts open Today, Map, Book, a chapter, your Planning Sheet, a check-in, or an editable Ask question. A condition-question shortcut opens a draft for review; it does not diagnose or send a request automatically.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No app account, subscription, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Your records and saved conversations stay on your device. Apple Health access is optional and read-only. Optional cloud AI requests go directly to your selected provider after disclosure. Encrypted backups use a passphrase you choose.

IMPORTANT
This is a general-wellness and education app. The book's framework is a scientific hypothesis, not clinical validation of the app. Reboot does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease; measure immune function; prescribe; or replace a licensed clinician. Seek professional care for new, severe, persistent, or worsening symptoms.
