## The Canterville Ghost Description
Reader, in your eager and clasping hands, you hold one of Oscar Wilde's most cherished works: The Canterville Ghost. This comic chiller has delighted many down the years, and you now have the possibility of reading it as nobody has before.

Ferociously ironic and playfully bold, Oscar Wilde was the wild boy and rebel of the Victorian age. Bringing colour, flamboyancy, and scandal to a drab, downtrodden, and dreary age, he shocked and beguiled readers with his erudite parody and gut-punching wit.

Our brand new iClassic is replete with comedy and chills, nuance and charm, penned by one of the most canonical writers from the western literary tradition. Get our brand new and wholly original immersive experience today, and have a wild time!

## The Canterville Ghost Reviews in United States

### ***** "A great story well presented"
The Canterville Ghost is a gem, of course. It wouldn’t be so famous if it wasn’t. It’s like a forerunner of beatleguise. iClassics did a great job of making the story more vivid and immersive. I feel like they were trying to make it in the style of Burton and Elfman. Great job!
-- Reviews by Socrates, 2024-06-29

### ***** "Absolutely Magnificent"
This is the best so far!
-- Allylicious2020, 2021-03-18

### ***** "Fabulous!"
The retelling of these stories is very well done and I purchase every single one! A great and unique pleasure.
-- _jbrown, 2020-12-16

### ***** "Most intelligent App"
This is the best app ever created. Honestly, it helps young and old readers appreciate the wit of classical literature.
-- Beast mode 1302, 2020-11-25

### ***** "Love the Fixes.....but....."
I’m so happy to see the fixes have made it in for almost all of the books. So they all get five stars as always and I can now get to the ones I haven’t read yet. Only one question - will you be fixing the last two - Canterville Ghost and Sleepy Hollow? I know I can read them elsewhere but I was looking forward to the design of the standalone works for each. These have been some of the best ‘apps’ I’ve ever bought on Apple. Great idea to create them!!!
Thanks - Ric

### **--- "Used to love this"
I used to love this iBook, but now all I get is a black screen when I open it. Very disappointing.
-- Ix_chel_2, 2020-01-24

### *---- "Suspicious"
These books are entertaining and well done, but unfortunately I have to give them a low rating due to the apps suspicious behavior. I have purchased all of the iclassics and found that they all immediately default to the 'on' position in cellular data and immediately use nearly a megabyte of data. Why a book would need to use any data at all is curious and that they use that much data is both odd and suspicious. I wrote to the company at the email posted on their website but received no response. I cannot recommend purchasing these books unless they stop this practice of sending whatever data they're gathering and using customers cellular data without permission.
-- apptappin, 2020-01-12

### *---- "Nothin but black"
There seems to be a bug. I just get a black screen when opening the app. Otherwise I used to love this app.
-- Rockb8m, 2019-12-24

### ***** "Awesome!"
This is a beautifully crafted, amazingly interactive way of reading/ingesting these classic stories. So entertaining and just a terrific experience- top notch programming, obviously, with no glitches whatsoever. Really fun for the younger AND older reader alike, and even if you already know the story, this enhances it so much!!
-- Butterbean1313, 2019-06-14

### ***** "Wow"
What a great story what a great app execution 🙌👏
