## The Complex Description
After a major bio-weapon attack on London, two scientists find themselves in a locked-down laboratory with time, and air, running out. With interactive gameplay, your actions and your relationship with other characters will lead you to one of eight suspenseful endings.

Having treated the victims of a chemical attack in the totalitarian state of Kindar, Dr Amy Tenant is a leader in the advancement of Nanocell Technology. Now, in London, news breaks of a blood-vomiting civilian whose identity is far from coincidental. Reunited with an old friend, Amy is trapped in an impenetrable HQ of laboratories—a womb of scientific advancement with a perilous secret.

The Complex is written by Lynn Renee Maxcy, part of the Emmy award-winning writing team from The Handmaid’s Tale. The interactive movie stars Michelle Mylett (Letterkenny), Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones) and Al Weaver (Grantchester).

Relationship Tracking
Throughout the game you will interact with characters and — depending on your choices — will either strengthen or weaken your relationship. The relationship scores are calculated from the start right through to the very end and will affect certain scenarios as well as having major consequences in the concluding scenes.

Personality Tracking
For every decision you make, every interaction, your character’s personality is being tracked. At the end of each playthrough, you are rewarded with a Personality Score and a breakdown to see how you played the game. Discover the five basic dimensions of a personality; openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. Which of those will your character play?

## The Complex Reviews in United States

### *---- "It doesn’t work"
I paid for the game and it never let me play even though I PAID for the game. Completely annoying absolutely stole my money
-- Sariah!675, 2025-02-05

### *---- "You cannot play the full episodes even you paid"
I paid for the full episodes, but the game still stuck in the purchase page.
-- nibabahaishinibaba, 2025-02-04

### ***** "🥹"
Amazing acting in a fast paced story with thought out characters and choices. I loved the story and it’s totally worth it, I got eight plus hours of entertainment out of this. It was my first interactive movie ever too.
An issue is the border is white without a way to change it, and I feel like it would be better in black.

SPOILERS: I don’t like how there isn’t really a happy ending despite 9 options. Also that some of the ending are way too similar.
-- dc cfff, 2024-06-05

### ***** "The complex"
This game is fun to play with I love it so much I jut want to tell someone who made this game that you should make more games like this.
-- Just got back to work, 2023-06-04

### **--- "It’s literally the movie except they want paid for 1 scene"
It’s the literal movie and none of the choices you make will change the outcome of the story at all (it seems like you have relationships with the characters but you really don’t) even the graphics and conversation are from the FREE movie “The Complex Shutdown” on HULU and they have a .99 monthly special im paying a dollar a year to watch Hulu . None of the choices matter and they only give you what happens in the first 10 mins unless you pay $5 for the game which is exactly the movie…and honestly the movie is better than sitting thru convo and making irrelevant choices. It’s clear there’s a lot of bot reviews here but still absolutely would not recommend purchasing just watch the movie (it’s actually good)
-- ScrapCapone, 2022-05-19

### ***-- "I wanted to like it, but…"
I did end up purchasing the paid version of the game, after all, the intro was pretty good. It caught my interest right away, which is why the bumpy transitions with every decision were so annoying! They completely break any immersion in the game. Overall, I found the game far too short. And, as other reviewers have noted, your choices don’t effect much. Ok to play through once, no real desire to replay the game. Sad, really.
-- KIA9289, 2021-11-25

### ***-- "It’s OK?"
I like the app but the choices are trash
-- yourloaclperson, 2021-11-04

### ***-- "I literally watched the film version last week!"
I watched the film version of this app last week on Hulu. Decent movie. Twisted ending. Will try to play the game to see if it is exactly the same since sometimes different versions have different endings.
-- lofidelityrockr, 2021-08-14

### *---- "bad acting and boring"
the story and choices are not interesting and the acting is bad. medical stuff seemed unprofessional
-- StanForever, 2021-04-14

### *---- "No money back"
My little cousin accidentally bought this and now I don’t know how to cancel the payment it’s stupid
-- R U Forreal, 2021-01-07
