Not a bad app, has gotten better over the years. One massive very simple feature it lacks is a dark mode or night mode. If you open the app to read the news in bed first thing in the morning your eyes scolded with bright white light.

This is absolutely hopeless for people with eyesight difficulties.

Even with our spectacles, my wife and myself, both in our seventies, are having difficulty reading the clues and the board itself.  We have changed the text size in settings, but that makes no difference

Hi,
Just wanted to provide some feedback about the app. What is the purpose of downloading the paper, if you can’t load the app at all without an internet connection?
Eg. I downloaded the paper for offline reading, boarded my flight, only to find I can’t even open the app because it wants an internet connection simply to open the app. It keeps saying “retry, no internet connection”.
Even if I tap and hold on the app, and select “today’s paper” after having downloaded today’s paper, it still only prompts for “retry, no internet connection” continuously.
