High quality journalism - now with a high quality app
The app has improved significantly over time. It is now working reliably and has a lot of useful features. Keep up the good job!
Excellent Journalism presented in an excellent app
The Economist known for it’s exzellent journalism presents their articles here and has covered most of them with a high quality audio version by professional speakers and not by one of these ugly ai voice. My no 1 app to start the day! Five stars!

It would be great if all articles were available as audio
Always issues with the audio
I am reading the economist since some than 10 years and ever since there are issues with the audio playback. Now every time you stop the playback and close the app for a few minutes the audio resumes at the beginning of the article. Super annoying … What are we paying for? If you want to keep your subscribers update your app to a proper app which is deserving of the economist. This app feels like a first year student programmed it in this free time.

Two things twice in modern world!
One thing on top. Soon a Dr title for those being able to write. I listen to The Economist on the move. Sport + News. I listen so goes down but reading it embed more deeply… The Economist compare to competitors is n#1, everything revamped in short articles! Everything is listened in 2-3 days!!

Stop nagging for rating
There's an Apple API for checking for ratings, allowing users to decide to not be nagged. Please use it.

Die Performance ist seit dem Update viel besser. Mich stören nur noch 2 Sachen: 1) „The World in Brief“ auf dem Homescreen aktualisiert sich meistens nicht von alleine; 2) Fotos/Abbildungen können nicht vergrößert werden.
