Love the new Economist App. Use it all the time
Multiple hangs per day while playing audio
Repeatedly hangs with message “Something went wrong. Please wait a moment and try again.“
Excellent if you have a subscription
I get most out of the audio parts - audio version of magazine, podcasts & special documentaries
Can no longer create audio edition playlist
For some reason they have decided to remove the ability to create a custom audio playlist. This was my favourite feature to keep up to date. Now useless for me! Not happy!

I will not renew my podcast subscription I found the application poor And difficult to use
Crashes after 2 mins
Generally fine albeit slow app. In last 2 weeks is unusable due to constant crashing
Application with problems in recent versions
The application initiated with a flash, which is very irritating. I want to use dark mode, but for certain articles the application doesn’t respect my choice. And finally, there’s a huge lag when using the arrows to return to the home page.

The new update ruins the reading experience
The margins are too wide. Hold press on a word no longer allows lookup of definition. Loads of unread articles are now marked as read. Really poor. Flashing ads are distracting, I pay for a subscription, I shouldn’t have to read ads. Can’t download articles with images for offline, only audio. This has always been an issue.They should also allow a way to sync data optionally, even just via iCloud.
