## The GoGuardian App Reviews in United States

### *---- "I Just Wanna Say This. 💢☺️🫵🙏😭🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥"
Privacy alert lol
-- helpplis., 2025-06-29

### *---- "Literal malware"
When I sign in to my personal computer it tracks my account from my school computer into every other account that is linked through all my devices

Now I can’t even get on YouTube on my computer because of this, and it blocked the review button
-- Clover from Undertale Yellow, 2025-06-20

### *---- "not functional"
this app does not work.
-- yourartteacher, 2025-02-19

### *---- "DONT USEEE ‼️"
This is the worst app to ever exist I hate it so much, whoever made this was out of their mind, I could not go on the apps I wanted to go on to do my essay and got an F this is not helping education this is ruining it.
-- yea ., 2024-12-06

### ***** "PLEASE READ THIS!"
I am a teacher. And I have tried to get this app so I can monitor and control my students computers but it requires a school email which I don’t have. And I can’t get access to make an account to monitor my students. So please can it just require a regular email? Because I’m always catching my students on games or not doing what their supposed to be doing and I can’t do anything about it.
-- Kittyamandax, 2024-11-25

### *---- "This app is a waste of storage and time."
This app is disgusting. It spyed on my device and it locked my device. I had to wipe my hard drive just so I could gain control over my device again. 0/10. I am so sorry to the students who have to live with this garbage watching them everyday.
-- ñoahh, 2024-11-13

### *---- "DOES NOT PROTECT KIDS"
First of all, let me say I am a student, but I value education. I have been using this app for 3 years now, and it does nothing. It is somewhat useful for when you make a “screen” or whatever, (I am a student, not a teacher) as that blocks everything except for a couple good websites. Other than that it is awful. It blocks obvious stuff like porn hub and TikTok, but there have been various ways over the years to bypass that, and some of them still work. Even when you don’t do those methods there are thousands of websites that are unblocked, and will be discovered. My school blocked every search with “mes” as a way to block games and memes, but that blocked things like “Mesopotamia” too. You can still just search “game” or “meme” and it works. My school spends $10000 a year on this, however we had to fire our librarian. Also it can use your camera without you knowing, which is technically spying/stolking. This has done too much damage to our school and I’m tired of it. Sign the online petition to ban it with over 18000 signatures.

### ***** "?"
Does this app show your screen to see what your child is doing
-- 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫥, 2024-04-02

### *---- "Bring it"
You wanna keep spying on us? You wanna keep trying to gain some semblance of control from your pointless little piece of glitchy spyware? Go ahead we’ll tank your reviews, we’ll bring you down as many stars as we can. This is the resistance.
