The Good Word guides you through Scripture, reflection, and prayer each day, with Pathways created alongside pastors and Christian leaders you trust. Daily Focus helps you choose God's Word before your screen time, and the optional Companion lets you chat through Scripture and go deeper. Open today's plan. Read, reflect, and pray in a few minutes. Come back tomorrow — the next step is already waiting. One day prepares the next. Choose a trusted voice for the season you're in and walk one Pathway at a time. A simple rhythm for every day: - Learn from Scripture and a short devotional from a guide you trust - Reflect with an honest question and keep your notes private - Pray through what you read and bring it back to God - Move at your own pace and look back on how far you've come You'll also find: - A distraction-free Bible reader with translations, notes, and highlights - Bible audio and Pathway videos for listening or watching on the go - Daily Focus and lock-screen verses to help you return - Walk Together to share encouragement with a friend or small group - The optional AI Companion for conversations about Scripture, with safety controls and content reporting The Companion can help you reflect on Scripture. It is not a pastor, counselor, health professional, emergency service, crisis line, or substitute for professional care. Pathways and creator content belong to The Good Word and go through editorial review; users cannot publish them. The pathways are helpful when you need a devotional specific to your current circumstance and mental space. I found the ones I’ve done on grief to provide doctrinal depth, Scriptural focus, and grounded encouragement (they weren’t just fluff, as it can often be with this topic). I loved that there was a way to also reflect with it directly at the end of each day through my own notes and personal response. You can read the Bible directly from the app, which also houses all the resources needed to dive deeper. The study tools allow you to cross reference Bible translations and even review original text and language used all in one place to grow in deeper biblical context and understanding. There are milestones and awards for sticking to a routine and study which is an extra dopamine hit to keep you studying/growing in the Word. There’s even a place to have continued conversation on where you find yourself spiritually and how to find passages relating to your current need. If you’re looking for a Bible app that also houses the tools to nurture your spiritual development, while continuing to develop with you to accommodate your further growth, this app is your one stop shop. -- ChristinaWindom, 2026-07-09 ### ***** "Standout differences!" The way this app is personalized to me, not overwhelming like other apps with too much to choose from, and peaceful while using it. The creators and the people involved - you can tell they have put their heart into it. -- tntcrawford, 2026-07-08 ### ***** "Highly recommend" Love this app! I especially enjoy the AI Bible study companion and the lessons drawn from Old Testament stories. -- Amy Mat., 2026-07-08 ### ***** "Great app" Amazing app for daily devotionals. Well thought out. -- Arthfuheguvz, 2026-07-06 ### ***** "Helps me stay consistent!" Great app and fantastic way to stay consistent and get the word in everyday in a way that feels personal! Loving the devotionals -- The Hailmister, 2026-07-03 ### ***** "Worth it ❤️" I’ve used a lot of products and there’s nothing like it out there that blends deep scripture and devotionals! 5 stars. -- Theogreatness, 2026-07-01 ### ***** "Anne Elizabeth Buys" If you’re looking for the perfect companion for your daily spiritual formation/discipleship journey, this is for you. Prayer, daily devotionals, real life questions being answered, being continually pointed back to the truth of God’s Word and applying it to every area of our lives— it’s all here. 🙏🏼 -- Anne Elizabeth__, 2026-06-30 ### ***** "Awesome!" The Good Word is a great way to build a daily rhythm in the Bible, engage in spiritual formation, and to explore what the Bible has to say about day-to-day struggles. I’ve really appreciated the thought that Colby and the other teachers have put into the devotionals, the guided prayers, and the other content. Definitely worth the investment! -- myecull, 2026-06-30 ### ***** "A faithful encouragement" I have to say that The Good Word is a true tool to use in each and every person’s walk with the Lord. From not only positive daily scripture points but to the deeper introspective self reflection moments, The Good Word takes aim at walk we as Christians choose to pursue. I recommend the app and find immense value in the design and simplicity in diving into a deeper relationship with not only the scripture but also with God. -- Jey W, 2026-06-30 [View all The Good Word reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## The Good Word In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Good Word Annual | $69.99 | | Good Word Standard Annual | $69.99 | | Good Word Standard Weekly | $8.99 | ## Apps Similar to The Good Word -
