The hub controlled has been down for the last eight weeks keep emailing them and after my sixth attempt I got an email back telling me to re-download the app and it's still not working. I'm just taking it out today going with a different company. Stay well away.

App hasn’t worked for weeks, I have received new device, deleted app and downloaded again followed all instructions but still not working

Hard to express just how poor this is. I’ve had it now for about a year as it had been installed by the previous owner of the house. The controller frequently crashes and needs to be rebooted (by unscrewing it from its base) if used via the touchscreen so it’s better to stick to the app. The app feels like using a project created by a mediocre student learning how to create an app. The controls are basic, clunky, difficult to set accurately and easy to unintentionally alter the settings. Because the app doesn’t directly connect to the controller changes to the settings take quite a while to take effect. And now the jokers responsible for this pathetic gadget want to charge to use the app. OK. Enough. I’ll just remove the stupid thing and be happy to see it gone.

A basic feature for “smart thermostat“ is to be able to schedule heating settings, beyond on/off. I mean, I would expect the ability to set different temperature for different time slots ... well, you cannot.
Not sure if it is a limitation of the app or the actual hub, but if it is the later I will uninstall it immediately. It is simply useless

The Hub Controller is a fantastic bit of kit. It does all the basics, turns on and the heating from my phone and makes it easy to manage the temperatures.
More importantly it automatically saves energy and money!

I don’t know why all thermostats are not like this. I can turn it on/off if I’m on the couch or in Cork. Hopefully it will come with upgrades in the future that will fold my laundry and fill the dishwasher

### *---- "A lots of things to improve"
First of all, it doesn’t look good on an iPhone with a notch. But the most important thing is that there is no way to avoid the hub to turn off the boiler randomly when you really need it to stay on (like when heating water for a shower). Also, they implemented a message system that is totally intrusive. You can not operate the boiler without having to read the message!

App is ok, but it needs landscape orientation as I use an iPad for home control on a wall, so this app is sideways, and looks silly. Also the physical device hub controller does not have a great touch screen experience, way better controlling the heat on an iPhone.

I had trouble with the hub control unit. I sent an email and an hour later I had a phone call from Liam. He tried unsuccessfully to repair it over the phone. He organised for an installer to call today and he arrived this afternoon and sorted the problem. I wish to thank Liam and the team for their prompt service.
