Cannot recommend. -- flywobin, 2024-10-11 ### *---- "No way to retrieve bookmarks" Gotta love developers. -- Seamus1001, 2024-07-28 ### *---- "App" Why it wants me to sign in ? -- hhvfghcxd, 2024-02-05 ### *---- "Need a non USA perspective" Please for goodness sake provide news that is not tailored to be from a US perspective. Would like to read news from the UK. -- kjbrjsras, 2024-01-17 ### *---- "They just want our info to sell. (Phishing)" I just want an app to give straight news. This app requires you to sign in and they’re very open that they’re going to share your info with whomever. There’s no opting out or skip method. I can’t actually tell you the quality of the news because I won’t play their phishing game. Make no mistake, albeit subtle, this is phishing. -- mcclungaa, 2023-10-27 ### ***** "John H" Love real news, without biased nauseating drivel. Like the Faily Mail. Horrible wriggling and twisting warts they are. -- Charlewebbym, 2023-08-18 ### *---- "US news, can't change region; no notifications?" Disappointed that the app defaults to US-based for the news while the commentaries are UK-based, and that there's no way to change the setting and see UK-based news. I do not wish to be viewing detailed US news like what the President has just done or said hours ago. There also doesn't seem to be notifications. This is itself bad, though it's at least a relief that I do not need to be bombarded with US news. -- Rethliopuks, 2020-12-17 ### *---- "Very Bad" This seems to be a random assortment of old articles from an excellent publication. The newest offerings are a week old and many highlighted articles are months old. I can’t believe they charge money for this. -- Ipaddington, 2020-09-13 ### *---- "Horrible design concepts" I should be able to go on line anywhere in the world to read articles, and yes I should be able to read them also on my computer if I log on! I can’t........ -- marekmk, 2019-08-06 ### **--- "Did Not Subscribe to The Independent to see American News" There seems to be no way to read UK news on this app. It has decided that since I am American I want to see American news. I get plenty of American news reading American papers. I shouldn’t have to pull up your website in order to read UK news! -- bikracer, 2019-03-30 [View all The Independent reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## The Independent In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Premium | $82.99 | | Premium + Daily Edition | $174.99 | | Independent Digital Annual | $99.00 | | Independent Digital Monthly | $11.00 | ## Apps Similar to The Independent - [The Telegraph: UK & World News](https://apptail.io/app/the-telegraph-uk-world-news-cM/united-states) - [The Times (ROW Legacy)](https://apptail.io/app/the-times-row-legacy-Pob/united-states) - [The Scotsman Newspaper](https://apptail.io/app/the-scotsman-newspaper-qUb/united-states) - [The Independent, Massillon, OH](https://apptail.io/app/the-independent-massillon-oh-DbP/united-states) - [New Statesman Magazine](https://apptail.io/app/new-statesman-magazine-buX/united-states) - [New Scientist](https://apptail.io/app/new-scientist-Gtdb/united-states) - [Daily Beast](https://apptail.io/app/daily-beast-Ggtc/united-states) - [The Telegraph News | Macon, GA](https://apptail.io/app/the-telegraph-news-macon-ga-xoSc/united-states) - [OptOut News](https://apptail.io/app/optout-news-fRWc/united-states) - [The Times of London for iPad](https://apptail.io/app/the-times-of-london-for-ipad-Gzel/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
