Welcome to The Intercooler, the world’s first ad-free car magazine app. We deliver the best automotive journalism directly to your smartphone or tablet, every day. 

Our writing team includes many of the finest and most experienced auto journalists working today, as well as industry experts responsible for designing and engineering a number of iconic performance cars. We publish the latest car reviews, insights into the automotive industry that you won’t find elsewhere and the most engaging road trips and motorsport stories as well. 

We believe there isn’t a stronger group of writers at any auto magazine anywhere in the world. The writing team at The Intercooler boasts a combined experience of more than 250 years. Founded by Andrew Frankel and Dan Prosser, The Intercooler also counts among its writers the likes of Henry Catchpole, Mel Nichols, Peter Robinson, Colin Goodwin, Andrew English, Ben Oliver, and former F1 driver Karun Chandhok. As well as the world’s best car magazine writers, The Intercooler is also home to Julian Thomson, designer of the original Lotus Elise, and David Twohig, lead engineer of the Alpine A110.

The app was brilliant anyway, but since the added addition of audio articles and ‘Ask The Intercooler’, these guys have found a level I didn’t think was possible. Keep it up, guys!

### ****- "Brilliant content, app buggy"
Much as the title says really. The content is fabulous, and I very much enjoy being a subscriber. The app, however, needs work. 
When a new article lands the app freezes, and needs shutting down. Reopening the app is then a frustrating process, as a "no internet" error message is displayed for the first few attempts. This requires closing, and then reopening the app repeatedly. Eventually it will open, with the new article accessible. 
The article is invariably a good read, so worth the effort. A bit frustrating though!
Sort out the bugs, and this is comfortably 5*.

The diversity of the topics, the depth of knowledge and the quality of the writers creates a source of reading pleasure that has kept me hooked since the beginning.

Join as soon as you can, because the volume of high-quality content is only going to keep growing, and there is a lot you will want to catch up on.
