Imagine red lights flashing behind you, or heavy footsteps approaching towards you, or any situation that just doesn’t feel right. Your heart is pounding, your mind is racing but at the command of your voice or push of a button, help is on the way. With the Just Us app, you just need one touch to take control of the situation and help keep yourself safe. Just Us uses hands-free, voice command technology to activate alerts, initiate live-stream video and send the user’s GPS location to five designated contacts. Check In: Assures contacts the user is safe with an updated pinned location. Free alerts are available via text messages to include a user’s pinned location. JUST US Heads Up: Activate Live-Stream and alerts contact user is being pulled over by police JUST US Help: Alerts contacts, as well as, nearby users with GPS location and live video in real time, that concerns are heightened. $4.99 monthly or $49.99 annual subscription required to live-stream video in real time. Should users opt in, the livestream of the incident will also simulcast on their Facebook page. JUST US was created by a Black Woman for the Black and Brown community because “Sometimes justice is up to JUST US”. Studies show black and brown drivers are pulled over more frequently than white drivers and they are disproportionately injured or killed during police contacts. Hate crimes have hit a 16-year high and every day activities, such as jogging, taking out the trash, or using a rideshare can quickly turn dangerous. Helpful hints: For optimum operation, enable location, camera, and mic permissions on your phone. Use a car phone holder, angled towards the driver’s window to best capture an encounter with law enforcement, should one occur. Questions or issues regarding the app? As a Black parent and grandparent I can think of few better resources; in fact, thanks to you, Just Us is at the top of my gift-giving list this year. You clearly understand what it’s like for us to worry about our family and friends; to worry about ourselves when driving, walking/running in our own neighborhoods, cooking out, and even “birding” in public parks. Thank you, and may you be blessed for this contribution. And $49/yr is a small piece to pay for the peace of mind your nonprofit is bringing to our world. -- Baba & Gigi, 2021-05-27 ### ***-- "Contacts" Receiving an error message when trying to add contacts; and, I believe this app should be free. -- Buckiebo, 2021-04-18 ### *---- "This should be free" Great concept and idea but this should be free. I mean it’s purpose is protecting Black people so why are u charging for this app. -- Jayj196548, 2021-04-05 ### ***** "Effective call to action" Amazing idea for an app. Idea: There a free or inexpensive option for people like me (Caucasian) who want to be accessible to anyone within radius in trouble, but who sadly don’t require these same services. It would be nice to have an option for $1-2/mo to just be a passive user of the app who gets alerted if help is needed. Thank you for making this. -- Ijustdo, 2021-04-03 ### ***** "I’m not black but want to contribute" Ignore my rating as I, thankfully and sadly, don’t need this (most likely). I do want to send some cash and the web site isn’t set up for it so doing an in app subscription. Please fix the web site so donations are possible. -- Pecos Bill, 2021-04-01 ### ***** "Thanks Dad" My dad told me about this application. -- shadow78109, 2021-01-19 ### ***** "Father of 2" Thank you for creating this app. -- Mr3.0, 2021-01-19 ### ***** "DOWNLOAD THIS APP TODAY!" This app has been a great addition to my family's life. Being a single woman that lives alone, it helps me check in with my love ones. It also helps my sister and I have a piece of mind when my twin nephews are not with us. I recommend this for everyone! -- Barbara Curtis, 2021-01-15 ### ***-- "Incredible?" I had no need so far to use this app do I cannot rate it in that aspect but there are times that I touch this app accidentally while swiping through my phone and the app opens right away but the annoying part is that you cannot close the app unless you turn off your phone than restart it back . So far this app is nuisance that drains your battery unless you are in a position that you can afford to turn off the phone to be able to close the app. also what I do not understand is the rest of the reviews on this app that are so positive but no one has use the app actually🤷‍♀️ -- Ze Pa, 2020-12-01 ### ***** "Changing the world" This will change the world. Incredible app. -- bhbh2, 2020-08-29 [View all The Just Us App reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## The Just Us App In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Premium Monthly | $4.99 | | Family Premium Monthly | $14.99 | | Premium Annually | $49.99 | | Family Premium Annually | $149.99 | ## The Just Us App Discovered Keywords -
