The app looks good, it works great, and the idea is unique and useful. But after a week’s use I’ve noticed that it draws from the same publications and has a right wing bias. Where writers summarise articles they’re generally centre right or right wing, and are pejorative against liberal ideas. It feels like the ‘balancing’ articles are lip service, or the ‘pieces of history’ which carry less weight.
Love receiving my daily knowledge summary - recommended it to lots of people as gives a great flavour of what is going on as well as some lovely eclectic pieces of information . Often makes me smile which is rare outcome when considering current affairs
I have just downloaded this App. I see that you are displaying a different App Version Number in the App Store to that now showing on my iPhone ! My iPhone says it has Version 1.4.1 installed but the App Store says that the latest Version is 1.5 This NEEDS SORTING !!
The only bitesized news outlet that is simultaneously dense with information and an easy, enjoyable read that skips past so much average, poorly researched, clickbaity content on news these days.
Full of little golden nuggets The Knowledge is the perfect companion to a quick mid morning coffee
A daily news digest is a good idea but this app is outdated. The Knowledge’s news cycle doesn’t get updated until noon which is far too late, by then you’ve already heard the headlines in a myriad of ways. What would be nice is to wake up, take a couple of minutes to read the digested news and then perhaps click on links to read expanded articles on anything of interest. Getting a summary of the previous days events when you’re halfway through the following day is purposeless. The Guardian Morning Briefing does a similar thing and is available before 7am every day. The Week’s daily digest is out by 8am. The BBC have a daily morning newsletter. You get the point
I love this app but it hasn’t loaded since last Friday neither on my iPhone or my wife’s one. Is there a problem?
Unfortunately, does not download well. Always forced to access via “Search” by typing random words.

Picks up interesting news from a wide variety of sources, with intelligent prose, witty stories & sometimes hilarious commentary. Highly recommend it.
