Maybe I’m just average looking but I barely got two matches. The video call feature is cool but I only ever talked to one person from a place I would never visit in person. The premium feature of the app are so expensive. Not worth it imo.
-I paid 100$ a week to try the premium features -you only get 2 extra matches a day -this whole speed dating is a joke , you get lucky if you match with anyone in Vancouver and I just matched with someone in LA -they re use old profiles cuz a friends profile popped up and I asked her and she said she had not used the app over 1 year and deactivated her account It’s too expensive for how it is promoted and can’t acquire users effectively . Use bumble and hinge instead
In a nutshell, no matches (no it's not my profile, the same one gets matches in other places). Almost exclusively shows me people from the US (I'm in Toronto). Their "concierge" never once responded to a question of mine, I just got a "we're too busy to reply to you message. The membership fee structure was absolutely unreasonably high for the no quality of no matches. Entirely useless and seems very scammy at this point because the one "match" I had a message popped up to say I was 26th in line to be shown to the person unless I paid AND they are in a different country. Sure $500 to maybe be seen once by one person. I'd have better luck walking down the street.
I mean listen I don’t want to sound snooty but the marketing is an app about people who are ambitious and career driven yet most of the girls on here are servers or some other jobs that don’t amount to much, not saying I'm looking for a brain surgeon but a professional of some type would be nice. Seems maybe the app is just low on pple in general, it’s a numbers game after all
I tried the app for two weeks just to see what was up. Unfortunately, it’s no different than other dating apps. It’s not hard to get approved so it’s the same kind of people on hinge and they are just as unresponsive. Maybe these folks are too busy? If you’re looking to meet-up, better to stick with hinge or bumble.
The people who made this app are super greedy. It’s $499.99 for 3 months of membership; which is 66% off of normal price. They are definitely praying on desperate people to pay. The price says a lot about the company and there ethics.
Ui design is very confusing. Unable to navigate the app like other dating apps. Deleted the app within 10 min.
This one takes the cake though. Unresponsive matches. Exorbitant membership fees. Long wait list times. I've been a member off and on for five years and have only had two dates from the app.
Don’t waist your time on this app. They only want to steal your money from you. I paid a week membership and they renewed my membership without even sending me request or notification. They ended up charging me more than 400$ US instead of 99$ which I wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t check my credit card monthly history. Plus, you can’t do anything on the app without being asked to pay extra money. This app should be shut down.
Their premium options are $400-$1000+. Barely anyone even uses this app. It has the potential to host events and bring people together but it doesn’t. Most of the hobby groups are dead and the events they advertise aren’t even related to this app - they are just events that are happening in the community unrelated to singles. It functions poorly for people close to the border (all of the people who show up on mine are too far). You must be a member to adjust age range which makes zero sense. That is a basic functionality. When you like someone on your feed, it basically just tells you that you’re in line for them - giving the illusion that you’re not even good enough for them to see you on the app and if you want access to people you’re interested in then you have to pay $$$. Really just a huge waste of time. If their goal is to make people delete the app as soon as they get it then they accomplish that very well!
