I decided to give this app a go since I was using the local for some years in my desktop. I have contacted support for my issue but my experience with the app was troublesome. Long story short, I got a membership, the app sees I have a membership but members only content is not available to me prompting me to buy a membership. Not sure what the issue is but I had a bad first impression.
Hi, The contact page on your website is expired, so l posted it here. On the website, I was charged 10 kr and 59 kr at my first two attemps at the membership registration, but however, neither of them allowed me succesfully login the website with my account. Then I paid another 99kr for a membership, it still didn't work. can you help me refund the membership fee?

Please add night mode to the app… Also I think the app would benefit of a way to sort the articles chronologically.
Love the way your app has developed, obviously everything is now on fingertips need not go to browser every time, this was something I was waiting for long time. Additionally the new sections you have provided are amazing so we can filter out and read which information or news we need. Another good addition to the app could be adding a bookmark feature so we can easily go back or review the information again. Thanks once again lovely team of The Local ❤️
The app was finally updated and now it works as it should. Notifications send you to the right place, you can scroll through the list of articles, and on top of that it looks really nice! :)
Great update, full selection of articles available and the push notifications work like a dream, never will I miss a breaking news story again. Good work.
Every time I receive a notification, it opens the app then sends me to the browser (where I have to log in again every day), and if I come back to the app I can’t find that article from the notification. It makes the app useless.
Extremely buggy app... And it has NO search button... Also, some writers and podcast hosts obviously don't have an objective tone in The Local Sweden. They simply have a political agenda. It can be subtle at times but also repetitively suggestive in other cases. They seem to take advantage of situations by stirring up the pot and instigating more drama. I would definitely not be renewing in Sweden... Surprisingly, The Local Spain is quite informative, more neutral and is less focused on complaints by foreigners who always have something to be dissatisfied about.
Update: given 5 stars back since the UI issue doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. It's be en months that other users are complaining about the ui issue that prevents us clicking Sweden section since it's blocked by the Member sign out button. Please fix this! I've paid for a year now and can't read all of the news in the app.
