## The Local Reviews in United States

### ***** "Jill"
The Local provides up to date very important information I have found extremely useful. Kudos to the staff!!
-- @jillchristine, 2026-08-03

### *---- "Sanitized news and editorials"
Too many incidences of leftist influence on how articles are published when cross-checked over an array of other sources. They also sanitize and will refuse to publish comments that might offend someone simply because the viewpoint doesn’t toe the line with Editorial staff’s world view. Not a very mature publication.
-- Lasean Ammons, 2026-05-28

### *---- "Poor Customer Service"
Can’t cancel subscription. Cannot get anyone to help.
-- Marcus050212162, 2026-04-16

### **--- "Don’t trust the app"
Fraud app. I’ve bought a subscription but received no access whatsoever. The premise was good though. But no matter how I try to login – via Apple account or other ways – by paid subscription is not working. Sad bad fraud.
-- ipupyshev, 2026-04-12

### ***** "Very informative"
While I learn the languages in University, this app keeps me informed in my native tongue of the news in countries I have, or will study abroad in.
-- Daniel Sheline, 2026-04-02

### *---- "What happened?!"
App worked fine for years. Now when I open the app, it closes within seconds. De/re- installed did nothing. You all got me this year, will not be continuing subscription after this.
-- DeezNutz0901, 2026-02-09

### ***** "Vastly Improved"
Excellent Source for News
the local is an excellent source of news from all over Europe. Becoming a member opens up many new articles and viewpoints. It can be twitchy to navigate but it gives you a different perspective from both a tourists viewpoint and also political understanding.
-- Per Axle, 2026-02-06

### *---- "Cannot stop subscription"
Instructions to deactivate subscription are WRONG and totally inaccurate. Stories are sensational and full of inaccuracy. Total rag
-- sarbetter, 2026-01-13

### ***** "Italophile"
The local is a great source of information for frequent travelers to Italy. I rely heavily on the information provided and trust it thoroughly. It has saved me tons of time!
-- bordeax, 2025-12-22

### ****- "I want an interview with the U S ambassador to France"
Come on folks It’s gotta be fantastic to get this guy speaking . Put on your best Joissy accent and get Kushner talking. Lots of laughs for all . Oops. Forget to warn you about the $$$ billion dollar lawsuit that is bound to follow.
-- Walterk55, 2025-12-17

### *---- "Repetitive"
It was ok for a year or so now feels repetitive
-- Audio customer, 2025-12-02

### ****- "Very helpful!"
I read The Local to keep up with news in Spain. Really helps us stay on top of happenings there.
-- BGCajun, 2025-09-12

### ***-- "No way to save and recall articles from the app"
Unable to save and recall articles from the app but only the web site.

Neither the app nor the web site give enough space for more than a brief comment and there is no running counter to say if your comment is too long until you try to submit it.
-- Paul From Chicago, 2025-08-21

### *---- "Difficult to cancel"
too difficult to cancel
-- mike475278, 2025-07-18

### *---- "Money/Soldi ZERO Stars/Stelle"
Skims the surface of Italian outdated news, ie, the earthquake in Naples on March 13. Someone previously commented that she/he decided the App as quickly as he/she logged on. Brava! I agree! The thievery is rampant & has been for centuries. Proprio una vergogna. Ciao Ciao!
-- BuroCacaZia, 2025-05-14

### ***-- "Si vous fabriquez ..."
Si vous faites une appli qui fonctionne sur l'iPad, j'achèterai un abonnement annuel, c'est simple !
-- j’ai 43, 2025-03-11

### ***** "Ben McPartland’s podcast with Emma Pearson, Genevieve Mansfield & politics expert John Lichfield"
Excellent podcast, highly informative in a delightful way. So glad I tuned in! 👍🏻👍🏻
-- Sucorm, 2025-01-30

### ***** "Great App"
Great synopsis’s of the daily events going on in Spain. I find the articles non-biased and well researched.
-- Apjacr, 2025-01-30

### ***** "Excellent newspaper!!!"
The Local is an excellent newspaper because it cover too many news!!!
-- Sdravska, 2025-01-27

### ****- "Need an iPad Version"
Great app on the phone. But, they really need a specific iPad version.
Currently, all you get on a iPad is the iPhone version which is small and very difficult to read.
-- kenstee, 2024-12-16
