Here's how it works: directly record or upload a sample of your playing, answer two focused questions about what you want to improve, and submit. You'll get back a detailed written review from Grammy-nominated jazz pro Michael Lake. You'll receive, not a checklist, but a genuine assessment of what's happening in your playing and specific next steps and perhaps even a recording with examples to help you practice more effectively. The feedback covers what you may be struggling to hear on your own: timing feel, note choice, harmonic awareness, tone, phrasing, and musical intention. Whether you're working over a backing track or playing unaccompanied, you'll get an honest read on where you are and a clear direction for where to go. The Loft is built for players who are past the beginner stage and ready to develop a real musical voice. If you're tired of practicing without knowing whether you're moving in the right direction, this is for you. Michael Lake is a Grammy-nominated professional trombonist, jazz educator, and author with decades of experience helping players at every level cut through the noise and make real progress. His ear-based coaching is direct, specific, and grounded in how jazz music actually works. The Loft is completely free for all Music Savvy account holders. Create your account at musicsavvy.com and submit your first recording today. ## The Loft by Music Savvy Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/d3/88/e6/d388e644-0cf1-b769-3ee4-6ee8d32e266a/Home_page.jpg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/f7/b8/0c/f7b80c9d-6302-7429-4aff-73265bf9a131/Submit_screen.jpg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/19/f8/d8/19f8d87a-2b4a-3a8c-6cea-8f070ad067e9/Sumission_success.jpg/1284x2778.png) ## Apps Similar to The Loft by Music Savvy - [iReal Pro](https://apptail.io/app/ireal-pro-Md/australia) - [TonalEnergy Tuner & Metronome](https://apptail.io/app/tonalenergy-tuner-metronome-JYb/australia) - [Vampr: #1 Musician Network.](https://apptail.io/app/vampr-1-musician-network-woi/australia) - [OnSong 2026](https://apptail.io/app/onsong-2026-OMn/australia) - [MXBus](https://apptail.io/app/mxbus-ixw/australia) - [BTS for WAZA-AIR](https://apptail.io/app/bts-for-waza-air-POU/australia) - [THR Remote](https://apptail.io/app/thr-remote-lKJc/australia) - [BRS Quartet BRAZIL Play Along](https://apptail.io/app/brs-quartet-brazil-play-along-uJze/australia) - [Time Hero: Feel The Beat](https://apptail.io/app/time-hero-feel-the-beat-xaQq/australia) - [THE FEEL BOOK](https://apptail.io/app/the-feel-book-olcx/australia) ## The Loft by Music Savvy Available In - [Armenia](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/armenia) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/australia) - [Bahrain](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/bahrain) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/switzerland) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/egypt) - [Malta](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/malta) - [Nepal](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/nepal) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/peru) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/philippines) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/the-loft-by-music-savvy-bxnA/singapore) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
