## The Lutheran Study Bible Reviews in United States

### *---- "No offline capability?"
How is it that this will not work offline?
-- Qrrtyccfsxc, 2026-05-04

### **--- "Too long to open"
The paid app regularly takes between 10-20 minutes to open. While I enjoy the footnotes and commentaries, I find myself oftentimes opening up another ESV Bible app for the sake of convenience.
-- PCallahan82, 2025-12-15

### ***** "Helpful"
The search feature is very, very helpful. And the text is presented in an accessible, understandable way. Thank you Concordia
-- ImrusAero, 2025-11-27

### ***-- "Currently a 3 star with the potential to be so much more!!!"
Currently I’d give this app 3 stars, and for using it on my Mac 2. But this app has the potential to be a five star app. It is crazy the amount of potential this app has if they put a lot of work into it, it could affect the entire denomination. While I do not believe much will happen with it since the LCMS is certainly not tech centered, I can always dream about what this app could be.
-- Offtortise2464, 2025-09-18

### ***** "Wonderful App"
I LOVE this app but I cannot figure out how to delete my highlights. Please help.
-- ghfcddsrrt, 2025-08-24

### ****- "Almost 5 stars"
I have 2 suggestions. Allow my iPad when not connected to the internet to access the paid features and offer Concordia Commentary Series as an addition cost. Otherwise great app.
-- Ed1967ghyytt, 2025-06-09

### ****- "Easy to use study bible app"
Incredible study bible notes, charts and much more. I have heard many users from other church traditions use this excellent work.
-- Alex lay bible student/leader, 2025-02-25

### ***** "So glad to have this"
I’ve had the kindle version for a few years but it’s so hard to navigate I don’t use it much. This is SO much easier.

Update 2/25/25: Changed my rating to 5 stars. The fix to the reading plans is very much appreciated! What was previously unusable I will now be taking full advantage of.
-- ktree528, 2025-02-25

### ***-- "Great content, much better UX than an ebook, but…"
I’d jump at the chance to pay $100 once and avoid the subscription. The subscription is a deal breaker. It just feels wrong to have an ongoing subscription for a book. Give me a one and done option.

I don’t need another subscription. I’ll stick to my ebook copies for now, until that changes.
-- SimDan, 2025-02-24

### ***** "A small flaw"
In Psalm 96, the numbers for verses 12 & 13 are not aligned the same as the rest of the verses. My niece was asking about Ps. 96:12 because I was wearing a t-shirt that displays just the verse number and she wanted to know what the verse said. When I pulled it up on my phone, with my old eyes, I missed the verse because the number was not where I expected it to be. Even so, I am so grateful for this app!
